I've been playing TEC a little bit, and started taking a look at the other races, and noticed that the races have basically the same units with different names. And reading through the forums I get mixed answers as to what each race is good for. I've read TEC have the best cap ships, but then I read posts about how TEC cap ships suck, just for example. I've read TEC has best economy, and Advent have best culture... And vasari? I guess I don't understand what the

I dunno why I joined this argument; actually I do, I couldn't stand the ignorant statements regarding scriptures. But regardless, I retreat. In my wake, I leave the popular and scientifically proven statement: "Arguing on the internet is just like entering the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded."

.... You don't see the offering of peace beforehand? Plus, that was warfare. These were people who were practicing debauchery in Jehovah's eyes, and needed to either change and surrender, or die. That's not murder. Especially when you consider that God gave them life in the first place, in order to act decently, not grossly. Stick to your evolutionist arguments. They better suit you.

Is death penalty considered murder? How about death during warfare? Murder? Not by most. Most people understand that when you grossly break the law, the death penalty is assigned. To refuse this is to refuse logic and the way of things. Regardless, there was no rape encouraged by the Old Testament. There was punishment for rape. There was no murder encourageby the Old Testament. There was a punishment. The majority of the texts I quoted about Jehovah not wanting people to die co

I don't agree with evolution, but I'm going to stop my dumb attacks against it, and all you should stop your silly attacks against the Bible. Just stop. It makes you look silly. It's equivalent to me attacking evolution by saying its ridiculous to believe an ameoba sprouted arms and legs and here we are today. The same can be said of your self-suggested knowledge of the Bible by stating that if you work on Sunday, you should be killed. You remember history? How before the US becam

Macro-evolution is the theory that people widely call simply Evolution. It's the belief that based on evidence of adaptation on animals, or micro-evolution, life came into existence after billions of years of such tiny adaptations. The problem with that part of "science" is that it is determined to find an answer to the origin of life by purposely excluding options that "scientists" don't want to consider. And shaping research and evidence around that is contrary to the scientific p

Eeek. Oh no! I'm a casual gamer now? :( I've been playing games for ever... I just don't have as much time as I did as a teenager. But I'm a veteran of older strategy games. I've played Total War, and I didn't like the feel of it. What I like the most about GC2 is that when I colonize a new planet, there's things the planet needs to survive. Not just a new Town Hall and a Burrow for my peons. I actually have to take care of the people. I like that. When I tried GC2, the depth

So I've played both demoes, and really want an empire building game to sink time into. But I only need one (I only have so much time to waste). I can't decide which would be more enjoyable. I like Sins because its real-time, seemed easy to get into, and the battles are controllable. But I liked Gal Civ because it seemed like there was so much more depth to the game, with more research, and more done to take care of the empire. I'm not excited about t
