The amount of time / effort / money wasted on DRM is amazing. The majority of people with the means will pay for a product which is a good product. SoaSE is a good example of this. People do pirate software, some to try before they buy and others just because they can, but for those people, if it wasn't pirated they wouldn't have otherwise gone out and bought it - which is why the figures you hear for lost revenue due to piracy are a load of nonsense.

IGN rated sins 8.9 in Feb for a start. http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/852/852735p1.html And anyway, why would their rating mean people would then move on? Surely people already playing know if they like the game or not and aren't about to be swayed by a review score. If you're having trouble with pirates after so long then you're not doing so well! After the first game, I realised you could just outbid the enemy to make the pirates go after the higher bounty on them. Even if the
Go against the "consensus"... even with proof, and you are silenced. So where is free speech? It is only allowed if you agree with "them".
Unfortunately it seems to be human nature. Look at the persecution Galileo faced by the catholics. Fortunately him and others like him persevered and focused on factual evidence over consensus and even their own beliefs. They did what you do not do, and did not settle for the 'God must be responsible' argument. Ironically, for
You are just too afraid to admit that you do not know, and will not admit that some intelligent designer must have to be involved.
Argh. Why is it that the cause of any lack of complete understanding of a natural process results in people saying God must have done it? Please, throughout history people have said that about so many things, and then the causes have been proved to be entirely natural. Why is it so difficult for people to learn from our past? <br

Most of you seem to have missed the question completely. Is ID a science? No it isn't. Scientific study must be the study of something which has natural causes. If a bridge collapses you might say it was God's will but if you look at it scientifically you will look for the cause of failure and therefore learn how to build better bridges. This is not to say ID is not true, it is just not science. By definition it is not science. Sure teach it in schools, but don't teach
