I wonder how they define "leading." If you decide to go for economic boom with the TEC instead, and deliberately keep a relatively small military, do you think they'd still gang up on you?- Gus
I just played on a random huge single star map with 6 hard ais and played as tec. i went for economy research and diplomicy early...military last. i had the best economy and the worst military for a long time and never was attacked by more than 1 ai at once. So maybe military stren
It doesnt show up in game if its not in the user path...doesnt matter tho...i put it in both... i even got rid of the sinsplus extras and used the vanilla gf...still get the defeat screen... (:(
Thatd be like goin from a nuclear powered aircraft carrier to an innertube lol
I can confirm that there won't be a molten planet in the next update unfortunately. Maybe in a future one, but not 1.2, sorry boys and girls.
How about a carbon planet. Scientist have discovered these in our galaxy and there carban instead of rock (like earth). they would a black tar-like surface and would have millions of tons of solid gold beneath their surface. Scientist said that these types of planets may be more abundunt in the universe than rock types...A bonus sim
I've never seen ships move up or down except to enter a fleet configuration, the Strike Craft might do this just a little bit. (From what I've seen) When I say "...utilize the three dimension aspect..." I meant that if ships could have been tweaked to use combat maneuvers, that they also flew above and below the ships rather than just flying around in circles as if they were on an ocean.
When i play i notice ships fly above and beneath each other alot. Planets will also s
i dislike the in game editor for one reason...your home planet (and neighoring asteroid) are always 100 thousand trillion miles away from the rest of the map and i find this irritatingly irritating. it takes like...5 min for your ships to traverse this void and by the time culture connects the games over...even on a large map. no settings i change have ever changed this
purchase 100 crystal from the black market. ... upgrade your population
actualy u cant do this with tec w/out 25 more crystal
as well as utilize the three dimension aspect of space.
In my opinion i think this game does this quite well. Complete 3-D would be a nightmare on a 2-D screen
Weapons as powerful and damaging as nukes are what keep "nuclear" countries from warring against each other.I can't think of anyone other than a third grader that would actually ask such a thoughtless question as "do you think thermobaric weapons will replace nukes?" Other than the fact that they are both classified as bombs, they have no other similarities.
thankyou. the MOAB is capable of flatening 150 yds. The Russians claim their 'FOAB' is 4 times more power
These things have been around for a long time. The US used the "Daisy Cutter" in Vietnam to clear swaths of jungle. The idea was shelved for a time, and resurrected as the MOAB, or 'Mother of All Bombs'. Ever wonder how Saddam got the idea for 'Mother of All Wars'? He was working on one. It doesn't work in the desert, though. Too flat and breezy. The gas can't concentrate properly, so you get a big WHOOMPH!, and little else. Much like a Hollywood explosion, it is all show, with no real da

The GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb [MOAB] weapon is a 21,000 lbs total weight GPS-guided munition with fins and inertial gyro for pitch and roll control. It is probable that this munition was initially nick-named the "Mother Of All Bombs" with the retronymic expansion of MOAB following later. On 11 September 2007 the Russian military announced that it had tested what it called the "Father of Al
One thing not mentioned in this post that is def needed in an expansion is more planets. Like uziis sins plus mod. Urban planets, industrial, swamp, forest, etc...etc... Also colonize gas giants...like in the mod 7deadly sins These are great ideas and i think should be incorperated into the expansion
Does the mod work fine before you exit the game? Enable it then play it without doing load on startup and restarting... Tell me if im stupid...but i never use load on startup. In fact one of the mods i downloaded will not work on startup. I always manually load whichever i want in game...
Maybe instead of change existing caps...just make a titan class ship. that takes...400support and 4 cap crews. It combines best abilities of other caps. TEC titan ship...carry 3-4 strike craft. colonize ability. guass cannon. Raze planet. auto cannon dmg-100. beam-20. laser-50. PB-80. hull-10000. shields-4000. antimatter-1000. armor-20. max exp pts-8000. culture repel rt-1
how about make fighters better...?...
6 lil ideas ONE| I would like to see strike craft play a more prominent role. Heres an idea... As of right now u get ur fighters at no cost(except anit-matter and time of course). SoaSE is a game that strives to eliminate much of the micro management associated with other RTS games(this is a good thing)...so...if fighters no cost...then why u have to click. That seems like micromanagement that the ai could easily do on its own. On another note i feel that strike craft
