I've already downloaded the game one time before, but since my computer crashed and I've been adding games back, I went back on that same account and it keeps telling me I need to register. Is there no way I can get around this and just download the game that I've already payed for?

Yea, capital ships are not all they're made out to be. Personally, I think they should rid the game of the required fleet training thing for capital ships since it can actually be more beneficial to just build your initial battleship or whatever and then just continue on with frigates and cruisers; thus you quickly go 'what's the point of even having these big ships anyways?' Oh...and interesting idea...maybe they should add a single dreadnaught class for each race that actually can t
Yea, scouts seem to have gotten a bit...'slower' now, but don't forget, they've picked up a more important role in Entrenchment as being able to reveal mines. Who knows what their destiny is for the future, maybe in the next micro expansion scouts will be deemed 'neutral' for diplomatic reasons due to their scouting duties (and since they're not supposed to attack unless forced to)
This is actually an idea I had like two minutes after I started playing the game [e digicons][/e] . The TEC naturally has all the signs of a good UNSC faction, while the Advent could easily be transformed into the Covenant. When you start thinking about it, there wouldn't need to be any huge changes as the ships and their effects already are very similar, only problem is what would represent the Visari? Ah, well, who cares, it's still a smexy idea [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Well, you can still turtle with Vasari, but it's best to save your turtleing for later in the game. Get your cap ship built (I forget the names, so whichever one is your mothership/colonizer) and send it to the asteroid near your planet and then build a few frigates and a colonizer frigate and send the combat ships to another nearby planet that's either ice or (preferably) volcano. While your fleet and your cap ship are duking it out and you've gotten the asteroid, build two civi
I know, I'm just saying that some people (and especially the new hard AI) tend to like to end the game a bit quicker than I sometimes would like. While they don't typically succeed, my hindered progress makes me ANGRY! RAWR! [e digicons] _>[/e]
Very helpful imput, puzzlemaker, thank you. Astax, the no rush time would be a pre-set amount of time and wouldn't be long, probably about twenty minutes and it would be an OPTION, that way those of us who don't like people who rush into your territory within the first few minutes don't. It's just my OPINION that there should be a way to give people who want it some more time to build up a more powerful Empire to fight with. Oh, lol, and Annatar, you're right, sorry about that, I was just try
Ok, the next expansion pack is supposed to add diplomacy options, so I thought I'd go ahead and voice a few of my ideas so that some of them might 'actually' get included...at least to some extent... 1. No rush option. This is something that I really loved in Supreme Commander. Instead of the AI (or a player) coming in and dominating in the first few minutes, you set this option before the game starts and it's like both teams agree to a temporary cease fire so you can actually get a b
I agree. The AI has changed a great deal from the original, but not necessarily for the better entirely. There seems to be a large gap in power between normal and hard AIs now. Normal AI's can practically be pushed over half the time, but if you try fight hard 1v1, especially on a small map, you are so dead [e digicons]X([/e] (lol, not always, but yea...). The Hard AI is very rushy (I can't STAND rushers, I'm sorry people who love to finish a game in 15 minutes or so, but this IS a gam
I strongly think there needs to be a campaign mode. I mean, I know there is a story to tell, but the game just kinda leaves you with a blank. Also, I think there need to be more units and more weapon types. There also should be different superweapons (the Advent seriously need some sort of giant beam weapon). There should also be more surface options, sort of like in Galactic Civilizations II but not quite that complex and that build as fast as the infustructure now. I
I'd advice taking them on early. If the Advent OR the Visari build and tech up, the TEC basically stands no chance unless you're playing an easy AI. This game has a ton of good characteristics but it still shares one that some people from Homeworld agree on...it is hard as hell to master this game.
