Also to piggy back on the Kostura/Titan phase node issue. As Rebels I have been abusively using star bases as Phase gates paired with Kosturas to move my whole fleet anywhere on the map and back in moments. This level of hit and run mobility creates a tempo no other race can begin to counter. My opinion is either take it away from Vasari or give something to the other races to balance the field. Late game it's like a game of chess where Vasari gets 3 moves to everyone

THis post is SOO old! HAHAHA it says I'm an advent player! I hate advent! They're the gimpy race now, this must have been written in the days of the Illum spam... Oh yes, the days where you could kill absolutely anything with nothing but illuminators but you could never win cuz you would always mini dump =P and I was the best feeder ever because I was the only one who knew how to build trade ports HAHAHAHA. Wasn't hard being the best in those days, no sir.

In extreme cases vasari starbase is an excellent minesweeper but its not always practical. Many skilled players use Vas SB + overseers to assault well defended planets regardless of mines. key being to jump in at a point where you can deploy without mines killing the SB and holding your fleet around it. Personally, I'd assume let my opponents waste money on mines and just micro around the mines. Also it cost more to deploy mines than it does to suicide one ship

Decided to come check out sins for the first time in nearly a year. Theres 30 people on ICO and the Lag is so bad it ground the game to a hault...

first off let me state this isnt a bash on diplo. i like diplo over all, i like the faster speeds and the pacts. this is just some food for thought on nerfing the feed rushes. maybe its good and i just dont like it because it takes the team strategy central focus away from me and forces me to consider using other players more specificly to come up with effective team strategy. let me explain. in vanilla and entrenchment my reputation as skilled would get me tons of immidiate feed when

the problem is as soons as my smurfs are ID'd on you table i can simply delete them and make a new one. host 1v1 with ai and quit a few times and im back in business baby. its a perfect crime. i can tell you my smurf after 1 use and then make a new one . repulsion/illuminator spam is returning in a worse way than ever. in 1.05 guardians and illuminators here horribly over powered. so illums where nerfed (not by much) the only viable counter to illum spam came when carriers where beefed up. but now with flaks being beefed up carriers are once again obsolete and illum spam is back. why its so much worse now is the only real counter to illum spam coupled with repulse in 1.05 was the dreaded Subverter ability "distortion field" but in 1.1

Hey How, i recruited 3 new [DT]s Hikkelo Quar and Star Player. put something on about tier 1-2 (i'd say hikk and Quar are 2 and star is close to 1, but my standards for tiers are way stricter than yours. by your standards theyre all 1s for sure. by my standards only real tier 1s are basicly cyk berz and JJ) all 3 are already great players but I wanna train them up on a few things and they will surely be amoung the top-10 or 15 players in sins soon. also i think Star h
