Got a few questions tho, Since there is no stealth in space, if you "see" someone comming from lightyears away. Doesn't that mean your intell is allready a few years out of date? What if you had faster than light travel? Doesn't that mean you could in effect see yourself depart after you arrive?
Ok, that can be a bit crazy... Yes, if you see someone coming from light years away, then it's already outdated, but I think that in space, especially with FTL

homefleet, you give some good point...thanks! About stealth in space...not very useful, since even though you might be able to control the path of EM rad by using metamaterial, but this also means that you can't see outside or anything...if you want to see or shoot, you either need to calculate everything beforehand (only good for escaping, hey, that might be a good application! Who knows...it still doesn't look good though...), or expose yourself... Okay, about nuclear bombs,

Was wondering a bit...what if we use UAV (or this case USV...) instead of fighters? In this case, no worries about life support, cockpit, G-force, and those stuff...all are stil controlled by humans...just from somewhere safe...(like inside the battlecraft...) Just a suggestion... And yes...I know that you might say that just make it into missiles and no need to worry about controlling it or those stuff...but I just think that the fuel needed to use it in combat (and retrieve i
I'm not sure what you mean about the background colour? For me, at least, the background is the same colour of black no matter what level of zoom I am at. Yes, the gravity-well is very slightly tinged blue, but only enough such that you can see the contrast at the edges. I'm running a nvidia card (8800GTX) on winXP32 in case it matters.
I think avasari means by the sky box...or the star color...I think it's the latter, because when you zoom in is color dominates the screen quit

For the mod...you can put whatever you want, if you want...update fix things...should be put in... For logistic/military, there's an option at the planet to upgrade all these slots, but are limited in how many times you can do...if you want more, you need to colonize more planets...

Well...I start to properly learn how to play the game after play on Kronac's Cross (or whatever name it is...) with team locked 2v2, easy...it really helps with an ally watching at your back...help me learn a lot after I screw up my first game on small random map with normal AI... My recommendation is to play 3 player map, and team lock with an AI (2v1...) so that you can spend more time to look through things properly and have friends to watch your back...(don't forget to set AI on eas
2.1. I hate when someone say that Starcraft is a bad game because there is too much micromanagement and that blizzard should cut the micromanagement down in Starcraft2.
Actually, Blizzard is trying to cut down micromanagement in SCII...they say something about for the games to appeal to both casual and hardcore gamer...make sense to me...
best goes to the Akkan or the Kol. Hands down.worst? probably one of the Vasari ships. I dislike tentacles.is it just me or do the TEC ships look like they came from Halo? and Halcyon, already used by Halo (they may both be ripping off someone else, But I haven't heard of one before the Halo Halcyon Cruiser).I am pretty partial to all things human. alien stuff doesn't feel like ships should, well maybe the advent does (and, for the record, the Advent looks like the Covenant, also from Hal
Apparently you overlooked the points about clunky interfaces, the inability for a unit to walk and chew gum at the same time, etc.... I think it is funny and ironic that the people liking this massively popular game are automatically assuming all those that don't are "sheep".
It's 10 years old...what do you expect? In my opinion, Earth 2150's interface is more clunky...and it's a year later already... Uranium...are you trying to argue that only bad games are popul

Increse your culture on the planet fired at...which can improve your ships that is in the area's shield migitation by 6%, with proper research...tactical weapon...but if the enemy wasn't aware you might to cause rebellion on the planet...(if long enough...) Vasari Kostura cannon disable all the orbital structure and ships for a limited period of time, and cause some damage too...tactical weapon... So both of them I think should be used as a lead for attack...

Sigh...I just have to get into this...
What we hate is how Blizzard fanboys for the past decade have tried, and often succeeded, at turning many games we were hopeful for into nothing but a clone of StarCraft...a game we thought was mediocre and clunky at best
So, you mean that Tomb Raider fans make other the action-adventure game being just Tomb Riader clone? Final Fantasy fans make all other JRPG just a clone? No developers decisions here? It really seems t
