I agree with you cube. Many changes will occur like you said and they should be appreciated for it. If impulse will make it easier for the developers to patch the game like Kitkun said, then i say use Impulse. I dont mind. I hate working myself, but that doesn't mean i won't do it. I like working to be kept easy as possible. ;) However, I really hate to be rude, but this is late Mid-July and there's still no sign of the patch! :( Sorry for any offense. I just want to let it all out. :p

that would be a good idea to counter the LRF projectiles and beams. It makes them utterly useless for period of time. However, idk if there would be new ships anytime soon. Maybe, but idk. Could work as an ability for heavy cruisers. I was thinking of just making the LRFs more expensive and demand more supply so there would be less of them to deal with. The price and supply for these ships are [B]way too low[/B].

I'd like the LRF to be balanced once and for all. I don't like the overpowered characterisic of these LRFs, and they are too dominant to counter often. IMO, it takes the fun out of the game for if you rely on other ships, you're likely bound to lose. The only thing i can come up with now to balance the LRF is to increase its supply demand to just below for the LRM and Assailants and above the HC supply for Ilums, and to increase its price quite a bit. 1. A campaign for sure :CONGRAT: 2. Moons and they are customizable into military bases for increased defense and military research, or a logistic base for better economy, construction, and civilian research. Either customization will increase the population in a system, but the logistic one brings in more. :d 3. Animation for wormhole passage. The ships just blink to the next wormhole currently, and it's rather boring. :NOTSURE:

This post is open to people who want in the game to be balanced and to pile all the balance issues into one post. I know the game's not balanced for I see players exploiting imbalances to a high degree...and they win too out of it.

Well, it seems you're right there astax (doh!). They ARE slow and it took me a match to realize that. :p Now i think of a new solution: how about increasing the supply demand and price of the LRF? :NOTSURE: This would make spamming the LRF more demanding than it is now, which means less of them to deal with. Hmmmm, how about reducing the LRF's speed down to a point where it's the slowest ship in the game? This way, they can't chase any ship to destroy it, including capital ships. I'm saying this because I've noticed they can chase down ships. Carriers IMO are a good solution because the squadrons can beat them up without any hassle, but if there are too many LRFs to bring down fast enought, the LRFs would eventually close in on the carriers and destroy them. I'm want to make it so

I think the LRFs should have a minimum range along with its maximum range . This will allow other ships to close in on them and pummel them while the LRFs are helpless and can't fire on them in close combat . The LRM should have a larger minimum than the others LRFs due to their low price (however, i haven't played vasari so idk the price of their LRFs). Long range cap ships are an exception.

well, this one game, a player, an AI, and i went up against 3 LRM spammers. basically, we couldn't do anything about it. I hate it when whoever has the most long range ships wins :( . I think the LRMs should be more expensive, because they show up in huge numbers so fast and bring huge damage X-( . LRMs are being an issue. But our AI is so useless :P. *sigh* venting out of this.
