Agree. I'd love to see 'time elapsed' somewhere (as an optional setting maybe) on the UI. I know it keeps track of it since it shows the elapsed time at the end of the game.

A True Logistics System There's a great quote from some general, long ago: "Good generals study strategy, great generals study logistics." As someone mostly satisfied with Sins, I'm not sure it needs another "system" added to what it has already. But for those of us that like to continue being challenged, want to be able to utilize new features to seek interesting advantages against our opponents, and otherwise want more avenues with which to fight and gain the u

This game is begging for more variety in its non-colonizable gravity wells. You could have everything from the old burned-out remains of massive star ships to very dense asteroid belts to massively-sized, hundred-year-old abandoned Trade Order research labs. Those are just examples - I mean, it's set in space and it's sci-fi, and the game already has enough lore to come up with all sorts of other things. Sins has been a favorite of mine since it was released. I still remember the old TEC bomber design, the carrier cruisers carrying only one squadron, and the AI sending in massive waves of siege frigates. The game has changed a lot since then, all for the better, and I credit the developers for keeping up with it. Below is some feedback on Rebellion Beta 2 in particular. 1) On one of the standard small maps, I was playing TEC Loyalist vs Hard AI TEC Rebel. I was attackin

Here's something that has annoyed me - changing capitol ship names. Obviously, these names are taken from a list somewhere in the code. My question is, why can't it be based in an external text file that we can modify? This would save us the trouble of having to manually rename ships in-game. I don't usually rename anything when I play, but having played Civ a number of times, I do recall them having a similar feature for being able to determine city names and this just kind of made sens
