I've done games previously before Rebellion where I spammed Novaliths too. Just build SB's and deal with them. Not much else you can do about it right now.
My friend never wanted to actually buy it like me so he decided to pirate it. A torrent site he used, someone made a rip of the files updated by recent patches upto 1.1 at the time and people could just put them in the correct folders and the game would be "patched" up to 1.1. I know it worked because my friend showed me at his house, so saying people can't get anything post 1.05 is inaccurate. Might be more of a pain to pirate more recent patches for the game, but its entir
You say you cannot play the game at all, which is a lie. You CAN play it even when you buy it used and even patch it up to 1.05. You say that researching the game prior would not notify you of cd keys being tied to accounts, yet in less than 30 seconds I found several websites stating this by using a search engine for researching the issue. As for anyone who buys a used car, etc, at least in that case you get an actual physical object. Have you ever ne
It's quite sad that this has gone on to a 10th page of replies. Again and again, you claim the game is DRM crippled, yet no DRM exists. You can install and play the game. You don't need any patch beyond what comes on the original disc itsself to be able to play it. Sure, patches fix bugs, etc, but you don't need them to play the game. Maybe next time you should do research into software prior to acquiring it. Or just stop b
Hopefully the final release is less buggy. I've had alot of crashes/minidumps since installing and playing the beta. I can barely play 5 minutes without it crashing, so I have to save constantly incase I have to re-start it because of a crash so I don't have to start playing all over again. Still excited seeing some of the changes I actually got to see though live in the game.
I think it was the first 200 ship on 200 ship battle I had, between me, a cpu, and pirates. It was pretty awesome to zoom in and take it all in.
