If you haven't received an e-mail after ordering, it's likely one of a few things has happened: 1.) The message was caught by smap/junkmail filters. 2.) The order was placed under a different address. 3.) As Hankers said, there was a problem with the order where it was not processed. In this case, you should not see a charge on your Card/PayPal account (although you may see an authorization for the funds.) You can always check your past orders by logging

What are you looking at the properties of where this does not appear?
What icons? What application is this concerning?
When this happens, do you have the option in the right click context menu on the desktop to "Resume DeskScapes" or no?
You will not be able to download through Impulse with an expired sub. If the backups were lost you will need to renew to redownload the software.
What video card is in the system?
So, to be clear, if you want to keep an archive which works with either XP, Vista or 7 you should use the "Download & Archive" method? Or will that still be limited to the OS you download with?
Download and Archive will make an OS independant archive. Archiving normally an installed application, or having archives made on update, will be OS specific, in the sense that it will only contain files installed on your syste
We were able to reproduce this here, and have reported it to the developer.

For the people with this issue, what are you using to call up Task Manager? Ctrl-Alt-Del? Ctrl-Shift-Esc?

Compatibility mode in IE always seems weird to me, like there's some way it sets itself on pages.
You should be able to uninstall it through add/remove programs like anything else.
So the act of downloading the dream itself crashes explorer, or just when it's applied in DeskScapes?
This is an issue with UIS0 skins and explorer backgrounds that have transparency. I have reported it to Neil, but am unsure of a fix date.
GregII: looking at your ticket, it seems that you only mentioned the download issues. If you are having problems actually applying dreams, mention that in your next reply.
You should be able to edit these within IconPackager itself: Then once you do, just save the edited package.
The EU3 expansions need to be installed in specific order: EU3 -> Napoleon's ambition -> In Nominee -> Heir to the Throne Other than that, game issues themselves would be handled by Paradox.
Any file I try to download goes into temp internet files and when I try to unzip them they are empty folders.
Instead of saving them to the temp folder or selecting "Open" from the download dialog, save them somewhere else, and make sure you are selecting "Save". I have found that the temp folder in Vista is cleared too often for my liking, and isn't a useful working folder.
Does the same crash happen if a theme is not applied?
Turn off compatibility mode. Click the little cut in half page in the URL bar and reload the page. Worked for me when it was disabled, broke when I enabled it in the same way.
This is a limitation of the newer OSes (Vista and higher). Microsoft does not allow the SAS to be sent over a network to a machine with UAC disabled. You will need to enable UAC or this will not work.
