IF pirates are still active and you ever had any bounty placed on you, your wells will always be attacked and those whit a higher bounty ignored. Even after all bounty is depleted I have had wave after wave of pirate raids against my empire this last game, even continuing after their well was destroyed. While it may of been a lost raid, hidden somewhere around the sun, it means it took a path that required 4 extra wells to traverse through, from the pirate well.</

Unfortunatly I didn't grab the savegame nor a screenshot, was just playing for a few minutes before getting the kids. I was fighting an AI player in my same star when I checked the diplomacy screen, their picture was "broken" showing that they were defeated. Under Pirates, I couldn not increase bounty against them as their name was greyed out. As I still had two of their worlds to conqure, I was rather suprised. I took over the Magama
Misspellings aside, and the reason brought up is I haven't had much time to play the game and now entrenchment is comming out and was checking things out. I wasn't expecting Capital ships to hold their own against everything, I knew about the issues with SC swarms and the like. I was just rather shocked to see them go down so fast and without taking out many when they did. In my defending the well scenario, I had overseers going into the well, as I said,&nbs
For those that are the MP guru's maybe you can explain this better, as I SP mostly. I used to use pirates as a way to xp up my cap ships, putting them in a fleet of 4-5 caps and send them into a pirates well and allow the xp to roll in. Now these were all at least lvl 3 ships and though the fighting would start off intense, with some direction needed, I have now discovered that entering a pirates well with caps means you have few or no caps left. Yes, I understand this is beta, but having to re-install the dang thing on a daily baisis really sours ones mood. Currently I cannot run entrenchment (even though I tre-installed everything last night) due to fmod.dll not being found, re-insalling your application may fix this issue...
Well at least now it states you have to uninstall and re-download every time, though it is still extremely frustrating I have to spend a few hours of re-install to try out the program every time.
Ok, beyond annoying. I D/L yesterday and worked fine, I deleted a map I had made in Sins, and now I lock up on loading. If you click "verify" it states you need a small patch. Install the patch (114.?KB) and it then tells you you have to uninstall and reinstall the whole shebang. Needs to have a warning, at least untill it is fixed, to NOT change or modify any maps you have made after installing the beta as it measn a couple of hours of grief.
