Well in a previous thread (now closed) Stardock said to contact Steam for a refund, and Steam are refusing to give out refunds! ....so it looks like a trip to my local Member of Parliament to resolve this mess again.

If your a Sins vet, not enough content to justify its price.... very disappointed and seeking a refund. Read some of the latest reviews before you buy!

And now the true reviews are starting to show why a lot of us are disappointed. Quote from 'Out of Eight' website. ( http://www.outofeight.info/2012/06/sins-of-solar-empire-rebellion-review.html ) The Not So Good: Not worth it for previous owners, still no campaign What say you? The fantastic real-time 4X series continue

I still haven't heard from steam, so I guess they are looking into peoples claims: Rebellion is a 4 year old concept, wrapped around some shiny upgrades, not the new experience some of us we're expecting.... gravy train springs to mind! Steam is the only digital distribution site I visit on a daily basis, I have over 140 games on steam. Nowhere in the description on steam does it say that owners of 'Trinity' would get a discount? If it did I w

Having played SoaSE since 2008 and purchased over 3 copies of the game, plus expansion packs over those years, I was under the impression from early previews I had seen that 'Rebellion' was to be a fresh new game experience, with some previews/interviews quoting it as SoaSE 2. At the time that was good enough for me to add it to my 'must get games list' and I didn't feel the need to watch any more trailers/previews etc for fear of spoilers. Having purchased

Steam doesn't give refunds, apart from cancelling pre-orders.
Yes they do, they have to by law. (UK consumer law) I have over 140 games on my account and I've had 2 refunds for 2 games I've not been happy with. I've also just received an email from Stardock Technical Support, saying I should g
I dont think there is a lack of new content: - updated graphics - new capital ships and corvettes - titans - new technologies - new subfactions - new victory conditions - new planets Not exactly Sins 2, but owners of older games get a discount. I have to agree with the original poster, this is only worth a DLC. It's the same old Trinity game, with additional ships, ie a Titan! I was expecting a lot more SD for the amount of time this has been coming out. It's rather boring TBH and I was expected a 'NEW' and 'Exciting' gameplay experience. I'm so dissapointed I would like a refund please? I'm also going to petition my refund request with steam. A l

This type of game needs a solo player campaign. I was dissapointed to see in the review that it was multiplayer only so I don't think I'll be buying this product. Multiplayer is so limited these days and is highly over estimated. A solo campaign would have given 'future' new life to this product with the introduction of new mods/quests etc. This review seems more credable than the other one featured on this site giving the game 10/10. Cheers.

Thanks for starting this thread. I've been playing SoaSE for a couple of days now and I have a suggestion for the developers or modders. I like the camera view and the cinema style options, so how about a rotating camera view? For example you zoom onto a ship press a button and the camera starts to rotate around the ship (covering all angles) allowing you to sit back and enjoy the view and battles happening around you? Cheers Grahame
