while I agree theres no real need for a storymode campaign, it'd be really nice I started off with a super-huge FFA, random all the way down, all easy, and its been 2 weeks, and I think I have another week to go before I beat it. So we get the basic background for the races, but it would be nice to play through the campaign of each race's history, who they are, develop some characters, and get their own perspective on things and their perspective on each of the races, cause you know

This could actually add more depth to the game. Say you destroy all structures in the planets gravity well, a new icon on the enemy planet pops up, 'negotiate surrender'. The amount of firepower in your fleet that can destroy their planet makes the negotation go faster. Also money can make it go faster too, but not past a certain point. Annihilation should be a much faster route, but negotiation could result in a higher profit over time by starting you off with higher population

I actually think its one of the most powerful level 6 ability tbqh, and I don't mind the way it works at all. Can use it both defensively or offensively. If deep in enemy territory, you can jump your fleet back to defend, do whatever with your marauder to keep it alive(and its got good survivability) while the fleet is eliminating the threat, then have the fleet jump directly back to your marauder's position. Or you can use it like a target painter/nydus canal/HOT-HOT-

Thanks guys, that makes sense now! My mistake was that I didn't know it was a channeled ability and that the marauder itself cannot use itself as a gate. Im actually kind of glad about this, this will definitely speed things up. Have the fleet jump back to an owned planet to take care of an invasion, and when thats done, jump back to the marauder to continue what you were doing. niiiice

The most attractive part of the Vasari to me is their incredible mobility. You can build an empire, and thanks to the ability to stabilize phase space, you can set up your fleet and your empire to only ever be 1 jump away. I don't even know how you could play without it as other races, but thats not what this topic is about. What I am wondering is, does the Antorak Marauder's "Stabilize Phase Space" ability actually work the way it is described? I've had a fullscale invasion of one of

I started my first Sins game as a Super-Huge FFA, and it started me as Vasari. From what I understand, Vasari are the only race of the three that can stabalize phase space between its owned planets? This is key to how I play, though its the only race that i've played, and I'm nowhere near winning the FFA yet. What I want to know is, how on earth can the TEC or Advent races win a FFA accross 5 solar systems when they can't warp their fleets to where they are needed? My b
