All of a sudden I have the problem that the Auto place structures mode is ON. This is driving me crazy! How can I get this back to manually placing structures. Ver 1.05

Now That's just Silly! I've ported 5 year old games from WIN 98 To WIN XP without a hitch. Across motherboards, CPU's. operating systems and what all!. Check your setup! RTFM!

You didn't say if you were playing online or just solo. Try increasing the size of your hard drive paging file. System/system properties/performance options/advanced/virtual memory. I have mine set at 6 Gig, twice the recommended size.
