Thanks guys, Somehow thought colonizing was a primary aim of the game not something that onely one ship can do if you remember to click the right button at the right time. OK.. Im off to have a go and see what I can find. I hope this info ends up in the main FAQ as its quite useful. Thanks again. PS dont click the 'Advanced mode' button instead of the 'Post reply' as you loose all of your hard-typed text!

Hi folks, I tried searching for this but the search is broken. I have read the manual twice and played the frist tutorial twice but cant see how I can build a a capital ship that can colonize. I saw a post somewhere saying to build a capital ship from the second row.. but my second row is blank. I assume I have to do some upgrade, but just cant see what upgrade and where.. is this tactical or military? So if anyone can explain this, and possibly point me to
