My problem is my setup doesn't look like that exactly. I don't know what I did wrong cause I followed the steps exactly, so by showing me the pictures again doesn't do anything to help. But I think I screwed it up even more trying to figure it out. Now every time I try to redownload the files it comes under adobe reader, and I can't change it back for some reason. I am no computer wiz so this is confusing for me, and its most likely a lot easier than I am making it out to be.<
Shadow89
Having problems again with getting the mods to work, I have it in the folder and did all the steps in the tutorial but nothing happens in the game when I enable the mods and click apply changes. The mods I installed is the Star Wars Requiem mod, which it says its up to date with the new patch. The enable mod checksum stays at 0 and I don't know whats wrong.
Thanks for the link. What mods are usable for rebellion? and whats the ETA on the star trek mod really looking forward to playing that one.
I am clueless on how to do this, I use steam and can't find any folders to place the mods in that I downloaded. Also is the star trek mod able to play with rebellion?
I agree, I personally think X2 speed is perfect.
Quoting Shadow89, reply 5No, its not a joke post. I know its supposed to be a slow paced game, but for competitive MP, it needs to be faster than the "faster setting". I am not trying to say it needs to be as fast as SC2, but somewhere in the middle where you can reach end game stuff within 20 minutes and still spend money on ships for combat. I doubt anyone wants to play with a random person for hours or even save a game, not knowing when t
More likely in "Sins II". The game engine already gets stressed at 1x speed in heavy combat and in larger maps towards mid-end game. Especially with desyncs in multiplayer already, doubling the speed would make this much more frequent.
Is it because of the 32 bit thing?

To increase the speed of multiplayer games to 2x speed? I feel that its the perfect pace for multiplayer.
It says that the ability summons ships to the titan itself, the dark fleet research requires those phase stabilizers and the titan ability having a 1200 second cooldown is ridiculous.
I agree with all your points. If the VL main thing is being a nomadic space faring fleet, the phase stabilizer cooldown needs to be cut in half. I also think striped to the core is too far down the tree, it should be available the same time as the last level of your titan. So once you can build it, you can start blowing planets up! Also did they remove the vorastra dark fleet ability? its on the tool tip with the other 5 research skills but I can't find it anyway in game.
Does using the speed increase in game, multiply the game speed you have set in the game options. like if I put fast speed settings on everything would that X that by 8? And thanks for those hints, keep them coming. I will try out those strats and figure which one is best for me.
I haven't played this since 2008 and I was completely lost in what to do. I even lost to an easy computer that's how terrible I am. Can anyone give me any hints on what to do at the start of the game, what buildings to make, ships, research I should get and focus on. I personally like the vasari, reason why I waited on preordering till they were available. But I guess I should start with TEC till I get used to the game.
Thanks, found it on top left corner.
First time using steam and I just pre order this game. I followed the instructions stardock emailed to me to install steam, after I did that it still says on the steam website I have to pay to download the game.
Thanks for the responses. I saw a you tube video commenting that titans are not very good on their own but are more of a support unit. At least until its level cap, Hope that's true I would hate it if a single titan can wipe out an entire fleet. Also is this game similar to Lords of the realm II. It may be a horrible comparison, its the only other game I played where you tax and manage lands. Been trying to convince a few of my friends who never played this game (but playe
1. How does the game desync and what is the cause of it, is it the person's internet or computer or the servers? what are the chances of it happening? 2. Are titans OP? do I need a titan to compete with someone who does or I can still beat him without ever building one. 3. To continue a MP game, is it only the host that saves the game or does everyone have to save the game to load it up again? 4. What type of missions does the AI give or you can giv
Thanks for the response. If games are now 30 mins to an hour that is great! getting me more hyped up for the game.
I am interested in playing sins again, the new game looks awesome. I originally played sins back in 2008 when it first came out ,but couldn't really have the time to play an entire game in MP. I remember games lasting at least 2 or more hours. What is the average game length for rebellion on the fastest settings, are games still around 2 to 4 hours long?
TEC is fine what they need is nerfs in 1.1 they are overpowered in the beginning. Vasari need buffs in the beginning before they nerf RA because without RA Vasari sucks really badly. Vasari can't hold its own most of the time vs TEC early game till Vasari gets RA to stand a chance. Now I do think TEC do need slight buffs late game but early game they are very cheap. I do quite a few MP games but I am still new only had the game for now 2 weeks. I know that most players that play this game are TE
I really think LRM are broken they do way more dmg than they are supposed to be doing what it says int he game. do they do dmg per missle? and if not how do I counter them early game from TEC if I am Vasari. I keep losing every 30-40 mins because a player rushes me with 20-30 LRMs. plus I think LRMs should cost a hell lot more than they do now if they are that good. LRMs pratically destory everything.
I want Faster Game play speed game takes way to long it should be an option for those that want faster games that don't last 3 to 4 hours.
thx for the help
I must be doing something wrong because to me RA sucks. I only get 4-5 ships every 4 mins how is that good for the money I spent on it. Can you guys please help me on this I am new to the game so I don't know how to play very well only had the game for 3 days.
just got the game 4 days ago and i love it can't stop playing it vasari so far are my favorite can you guys give me some strats for them please. I also read about RA but to me it doesn't seem that good in the game that i got it only summon 4 ships must i be doing something wrong?
