Good answer, InfernalRS.

Laptops are almost a misnomer, because they were terribly on your lap. Reason being is because most normally the vents are on the bottom and there are some stumpy legs to give it some lift, however placing the computer on your lap often blocks those vents. I recommend a stand or a table.
Quoting SgtHop, reply 12Pwn does not mean those things, it means "own". "Own" means those things. Pwn is just a typo, and is actually pronounced "own". Just so y'all know. c: It's not a typo when I say Pwn deliberately. And I pronounce it was P-own
LOL. FTW does stand for "For the Win", however, it also does stand for "Fuck the What".

Also, McAfee and norton are the two huge dominating names in home pc security(and not near the best i
Lol, thanks for answering SageWon
Interesting topic. Right now I'm using AVG Free and I'm unsatisfied with it's memory usage.
Has anyone completed all the achievements? And if so, do you get anything for doing so? Thanks :)
FTW is also WTF backwards. People use it to avoid curse detectors.
Hi all, this is more about the forum, and more indirectly about SoaSE. I was going through my forum info today and noticed there are spots for different messengers. I think it would be beneficial to have a field in the database for Xfire. Any takers?
Speaking of achievements ... do you get anything for completing all the achievements?
I think the first place you went wrong, poster, was to update it after it said it was not installed correctly. You should have tried to reinstall it. ;)
Can we avoid these silly topics? Subjectivity is just a clash of opinions, and no amount of agreement or disagreement can make either position right. In the end it all comes down to taste, nothing more. TBS is little more than Risk with 1,000 variables you must track, yet no pressure nor micromanagement. Maybe that's why I struggle to like the TBS, because it's more like work. A lack of pr
I realize GalCiv2 isn't a multiplayer game so to speak, but if anyone who plays it has xfire and would like to add me to talk strategy or hook up for other strategy games, add me. Xfire: mafutnyoas
It's your onboard video card. Onboard video cards get their ram from your system ram, except in rare cases where some of them have some of their own ram. If you go into your bios or use some utility, you should be able to change the amount of ram allocated to your card.
Is there a place to post issues for this specific patch? They may be issues from the previous patch or game in geenral, but I'd like to contribute in any event.
Awesome, thanks for your reply 23Spring
Thanks, it's Sparky, the Meklar special Ship Leader.
Fair enough - thanks for the input everyone :)
Is it worth it to get TA? Does it expand on DA that much, or is it that much better? Thanks.
I'm stuck with AGP for the time being, though my system is fairly quick. I picked up the last AGP card by Ati out of desperation, the HD 3850 512 and I'm extremely satisfied with it for the moment. All my games run like butter.
Hello everyone. Played a few small games of GalCiv II and am hoping some seasoned players can help me with some small questions that I have. Firstly, the scrolling speed - I have my scrolling speed on full yet the edge-scrolling is still so slow. My framerate is good, and I'd rather not make any OS adjustments to my mouse speed. Any cfg files I didnt see? Another thing I noticed is, when creating a ship, it docks in the shipyard and I have to manually launch it. Is there anyway to
lol, nice ... is there a newer version of DA out? I have 1.80g as well.
Sole Soul - Thanks for your replies. I demanded my planet back from the Jagged Knife and they agreed, but the planet went back into their list of planets. I later demanded my planet back again, and the same thing happened, then in the same diplo session I demanded a tech to see if the same thing would occur and it did - the tech I asked for went back into their list and I did not have it after the diplo session. I am playing on an easy level b\c this is my first game, so that could have s
Thanks Sole Soul. Sorry, I thought because my post was mainly about the Jagged Knife, and I said planet back that it would be clear - my mistake. I asked the Jagged Knife for my planet back, and they submitted. I also demanded a technology off them just now, and they agreed, but I don't have either.
Hello everyone. I've had this game for a day and have been playing it and am fairly satisfied with it. One thing happened today that kind of befuddled me, so I thought I'd throw it out there and see if I could get some advice\answers from the experts. I was playing today, and 'The Jagged Knife' "claimed" one of my planets. Ok, I didnt know who they were or how, but I realize they're a minor race, and that they sort usurp planets. I guess my questions are: 1) Is there anyway
