It's just a game, you should really just relax.
It does still register your ships as being in the starting grav well when you cross over using sub light drives.you also have to get to the edge of the starting well to phase, just like a normal grav well. However, your ship have to jump from the edges, meaning there is a phase jump animation, which appears inside the grav wells, and the ships actually move backwards during the phase jump.
While messing around with the in-game map editor, i did manage to make two planets with overlapping grav wells, and have seen the bug with ships exiting grav wells. ship outside of grav well: overlapping grav well bug (note th
currently the game comes down to discipline vessel/ skirmisher spam, with LRFs making the occasional appearance, but rare. I think the main reason for this is the cost of labs is too high, as well as possibly the cost of those starting ships too low. adding in a small crystal requirement to the starting ships would probably combat the starting ship spam, which seems to be the worst problem.

Rather than try galaxy forge, i decided to se the in-game map designer to make a map template, so it would be randomly generated each time. The map size is set to minimum, with about 100 planets, 10 players, and 1 star. Phase lanes and resources are also at maximum. yes, i know about the current sync problems with the market from https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/331090 . However, i saw three desyncs in a row at the start of the game, which doesn't fit the description of a "rare market condition" described. Should i send in my sync logs, and if so, where to? I have found a counter to carrier spam, but it won't save you from a fleet of them. The trick is to rush the advent player before he can start spamming carriers. As for LRFs, those thing get smashed pretty badly by carriers, they're slow and are outranged. I think the way to balance them is to buff the performance of flak frigates.
I just played a game in which i did not spam ships, but my teammate did. my teammate distracted my opponents long enough for me to create 2 temples of hostility and get carriers. i was then able to do mass, sweeping colonization, including a chokepoint that limited one of my opponents to 2 planets compared to my 6. In a team game, there is still room to do more than spam basic attack frigates.
carriers were given too much of a buff, as i can destroy a flak frigate with a carrier frigate. its really just the advent ones that can do this though, so those should probably be toned down a little.
yes, carriers are horridly imbalanced. I just came on to say the same thing, after having stopped a pro player's offense (level 6 vasari mothership, 30 enforcers, 20 skirmishers) using 11 advent carriers and no cap. although this battle was in my culture and my opponent had been choked down to only 2 planets, its 220 supply v 563 supply. all i had to do was keep my carriers moving and i could hold him indefinately. carriers need to be somehow toned down. edit: those wer
I was playing 3 normal AIs in a 2v2, and both of them built nothing but seemingly random capital ships and cobalt light frigates. later in the game, it began building seige frigates, but nothing else. has anyone else noticed this?
it's six groups of 5 characters. if you have impulse and have the game registered, you can go to my games>registatration and copy+paste. if that doesn't work, contact support.
I encountered the same issue as well, and had to restart the download. Eventually i got one where it did verify, but that took 4 tries.
I just created a custom map and now can't find it. Where are custom maps stored?
