Hi Antracer, I hope to be playing till my dying day though what kind of games we'll all be playing is anybodies guess. Like you I expect we will be playing hooked up to UBER PC's. The PC's may even have their own personalities and play along side us. Maybe we will be in total immersion games either with body suits and VR surround vision or maybe just linked direct with electrodes to our temples, totally handfree! Who knows??.

Hi Hack78 I remember thirty :) hated and dreaded it! but forty was a breeze LOL :) not sure what I will feel at fifty but i know I'll still be gaming!!! Hi Johnnny51.. I have loads of games but favourites that i play over and over are SIMS2, CIV4, SIMCITY4, ROME TOTAL WAR, CRYSIS, and FARCRY to name but a few. Have only played Call of Duty single player, loved it.I believe they still have a thriving online community. Played EVE Online, got very hooked on it snag was i was continuously playing it till the early hours of the morning even to the point of falling asleep at my PC. Also played Guildwars online and Star Wars

I have to agree the ending is a bit sudden and lacklustre, kinda just springs out on you (BAM the end!). That said though, surely the fun is in the playing!?, and as Johnnny51 says you can just keep playing or start another game (the latter is what i tend to do). There are very few games i have ever played to the very end so cant make much of a comparison.

Hi Johnny51 and Bobrome103! Great to hear i am in good company, was beginning to wonder. Its great to know i am not the only "big kid" on the block. Do you guys play sins online? I have yet to try an online game of Sins been put off by what "sounds" like a lot of problems and the fact that I am pretty new to Sins too. We could form a "Clan of Mature Gentlemen" lol :) What other PC games do you guys play? BTW Bobrome103 your profile says you are 18 lol ;) <b

I have been reading thru the many and varied threads in this forum, collecting information about SoaSE to improve my game and my modding. I was just curious about the average age of Sins players, I am 44 and wondering if I am in the minority or not? Starbucaneer :)

Hi All, Forgive my noobish ways but I am taking my first steps into the wonderful world of modding. I just want to know how i can convert a binary file into a text file so i can mod it then convert it back to binary?. any advice would be appreciated Starbucaneer

I think the main advantage of this game is it allows you to use your own imagination. I have never modded a thing before or created any game maps etcetera but having bought this game and played it I have been inspired to learn how to attempt both. I love it!

Freespace was brilliant, its 1 of only 5 games i have ever played right thru to the very end!!! Would love to see a Freespace mod for Sins

I would like to say PC gaming is still the best in my opinion. But good quality games are maybe thinner on the ground. I certainly buy fewer than i used to. I get annoyed when I go into retail outlets and the PC game titles are relegated to the back of beyond in the store. I can think of one such store i used to spend a fortune in that now has a handful of titles at the far back corner GRRRR!. I tend to buy online now unless i cant wait for the post to deliver and want a game as soon as

I would ask Stardock to concentrate on adding some of the great ideas like planetary defenses, moons etcetera before creating a campaign. I would like a class of ship able to generate its own worm hole/jumpgate to carry itself and all vessels in a set radius in one jump directly to the planet of your choice regardless of phaselanes. An ultimate supership,(Colossus Class) of which you can have one only per race, with huge firepower multiple researchable abilities. able to dock a

Hi Sinners, Well i for one am glad there is no campaign, it makes for total freedom to create your own with your imagination! added to that the galaxyforge allowing complete control of custom map creation. For me this is the best game ever!!! GREAT WORK STARDOCK! Starbucaneer

I have a 7600GT and have not had a single problem so far while running 169.21 Forceware Nvidia Drivers. Thanks for the heads up re series 9 drivers supporting series 7 will give it a try anyway as i would like more uptodate drivers. Starbucaneer
