I don't really know, but it does say so in the ship's description. While I do play Vasari mostly I haven't played much with the carrier's abilities enough to give an informed reply. Apologies....I am a pretty new player, I will test it out in coming days when I can find the time to play.

The Vasari carrier has the ability to replicate enemy forces...was there a carrier present? Perhaps you destroyed the carrier sooner the second time around?
