I'd guess you are using Win7. Then games simply can't broadcast their presence over tunnels like Hamachi. Solution? A small tool called HamachiBroadcastFixGUI. It fetches those broadcasts and passes them on to Hamachi. Source (German): http://www.espend.de/artikel/gameserver-ueber-hamachi-tunngle-und-co-werden-windows-7-nicht-angezeigt.html (Download in the

Well, why don't you then just roll out a tiny update to fix this nuisance? Otherwise, since this version really is very stable, there won't be a fix any time soon, right?
So, to do some grave digging: it's been over a year and a half now since the initial post and my free fences still displays finnish menus. Can I expect an update anytime soon or was support for fences abandoned?
Will DL now! Most of that sounds juicy. Also, I'm not sure what units are being used to describe Pinpoint Bombardment's boost, but the change sounds like you can practically bomb a planet from the very edge of a visible gravity well now.
sadly this is true, which means that the siege cap doesn't automatically use its siege platforms anymore (because it's not within their range when it bomb
you might want to have a look at this thread: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/383013
Rather than sales on games nobody needs, Impulse should work on the availability of their titles. It just drives me mad when I see a game on Impulse which I want to buy, but can't because of stupid regional restrictions. Steam has The Witcher on sale and I'm tempted to buy it, not because it's just 5€ cheaper than on Impulse, but just because it's available on Steam, while Impulse locks me out. Best example: The THQ bundle on Impulse. Available world wide, exept Germany (again, no proble
well, at least for digital download it should be no problem to offer both, or, like Far Cry, to offer a patch.
there's a MS-tool for that? do you have a link? I use this tool: link . It works great and the author added new features or removed bugs in no time when you requested it in the thread. But anyway, I would really like to know why developers nowadays don't ship their games as x64. Most games I play (CoH, SupCom, Sins, Oblivion) have issues with their mem
hm, well, I just finished my game with the Wraith and now I was able to research the armor and antimatter-techs. are there any requisites which are not shown?
so there won't be any patches for the entrenchment version? because I noticed a few annoying bugs. the wraith f.e. can't research the additional armor upgrades and the antimatter upgrades. nothing happpens when you click on them. and there are other things depending on those, like the clone facility. so far, having played the Ancients and the Wraith, I like your mod. I hope you'll find someone to do some models for you, so you can ditch the standard races' models. and what's t
well i didnt see my processor its a intel celeron M for a laptop and running 32 bit OS
well, according to Intel's website, you should be able to use an x64 OS: http://www.intel.com/products/processor/celeron/mobile/index.htm
How can you tell if your computer can run 64 bit OS's? im running windows vista home premium 32 bit with 2 GB ram and with 4 GB pagefileing
all that matters is your processor. here's a short list of x64 processors: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/64-bit#Current_64-bit_microprocessor_architectures
but seriously: since almost every game I play atm (Sins, CoH, SupCom) sooner or later hits the program's 2GB RAM limit, it's about time to deliver games in 64bit. Since Win7, most users have upgraded to a x64 OS, so I think there is a market for that.
why do you think this is comedy? it seems like he could give a source for every of his allegations. I've been thinking for quite some time now that this whole apple hype will (hopefully (?)) lead to something very very messy.
I can't believe so many people recommend D-Link. I've had 2 D-Link routers and w-lan cards in my life and they were by far the crappiest pieces of technology that ever entered this house. Poor transmission power, constant disconnects as soon as I established more than 10 connections at once (good-bye P2P..), a confusing GUI, lack of basic features: I will never ever use a D-Link device again. I would recommend either Netgear or even better an AVM Fritz!Box (but I don't know if that's availabl
In theory the idea is great, I've been thinking about it for quite some time now. Indeed it would be great not having to register at various sites but having just one registration used at all sites. But besides technical problems (what if your nick is already being used at a site you try to access?) the privacy issues are much graver. The company that holds the key to all your accounts holds the key to your whole life. Services like Facebook are already far too intruding (when I had to regist
I simply have too many programs I want to have at the ready since I'm too lazy to click (or nowadays type) through the start menu. If I pinned them all to my taskbar, it would be quite crowded (I hate stacked taskbar entries). So I turned my Win7 taskbar just the same way my XP taskbar used to be. One row for the opened programs and one row for quick launch with small icons. If the QL icons had the jumplist feature, that would be cool, but of course that doesn't work. For me the only really n

one more thing I just noticed: I can't unpin starbases and didn't find an option for not pinning them. Is there a way to hiden them?

Don't just send scouts. First off: I really like Sins, but I'll soon have send Ironclad my doctor's bill for the treatment of my gastric ulcer.. point 1: Scouts still trigger mines which means whenever you play against Advent you are very very lucky if you scouts trigger more than one mine at once, which is the only way to break the "one scout kills one mine ratio". So make scouts mine proof or give me an option to ban mines from the game because this way, they are just a pain in the a**. (and btw: in my las
Hi, are there any plans an making this mod compatible to Entrenchment version 1.041 again any time soon?
so, but this does mean that the radiance doesn't benefit from the increased armour or antimetter absorbtion until it has run out of shield, right?
Armour reduces the damage taken by the hull. This makes the hull a lot tougher than your shields, since it benefits from both shield mitigation and from armour damage reduction.
this sounds like shield mitigation still counts even if the shields are already depleted. wouldn't that be illogical? no shields = no s
In the humanities that's called scientific discourse and considered progress. I don't have a problem with "inspired" stories, as long they are no 1 to 1 copy of some other work. I once read a book that was a plain transcription of The Lord of the Rings at a level where I wondered how they managed to publish the book without a law suit. That book definitely went too far, but otherwise I'm not too strictly insisting on new ideas (which often just means it's copied from a time which nobo
