My computer is muted most of the time anyways ;) IMO, it's hard to have matching sounds, so most of the time they seem almost irrelevant... A toggle might be possible through script?

Personally, while others run away from scripting, I make DX themes for the flexibility of it. In a WindowBlinds, you are stuck with window borders & standard graphics. In RightClick, you have a background, arrows & mouse over states. With DesktopX, you do [B]everything[/B] - location, behaviour, graphics![HR] I would love a more complex suggestion system while typing (i.e. currently the list that opens when you type 'DesktopX.' seems slightly outdated), and also some more build-in functions (

I just downloaded the new Chrome 2 BETA (it surpassed Safari 4 BETA in speed, poor Apple). I am delighted that so far, on my computer, it supports comments & posting. Interesting, that the full release (v1) doesn't support.

Personally, I think it's time for some updates... So much Stardock software is now outdated. Stardock is the best at windows customization, but freeware is actually creating quite a buzz, and independent developers often check threads, then update. And while ObjectDock is the most complete dock, XWindowsDock has caught my attention - Genie minimizing windows, superior stacks, auto icon reflection. These features in OD would be great. That might be because you have left the object to align to "left" and "top". DesktopX will use those alignments. Change alignments to vertical & horizontal "center" and try it.
