a question about balancing: I have played with every faction and they are more or less similar in strength (hull, shield, weapon power) but the dominion is much weaker. Their capital ships have very low hull and shield strength, and weapon damage is under 50 or so. Also the "cruiser section" ships are much weaker, except breen mwpg. It seems that only the ships from a "figate section" are balanced. are those the finall stats or the domonion is going to be rebalanced?

Their caps have much les hull and shield strength and weak wepons dmg. Enslaver and battlcruisers are repectevly much weaker then the galaxy and sov or neg var. So are other ships...

dominion faction seem a little underpowered. I suspect it haven t been balanced yet. Or it just seems to me, i havent played long with them...
one question, you mentioned that you forgot to remove hangar defences, does that mean that there will be no fighters and bombers in the mod? I find the bombers as a very usefull defence method in the 0.02 Cardassians are not as weak as they seems especialy with a 75-80 damage strong main beam. Low upkeep and lot of ships makes a powerful combination if you know how to use it.
shouldn't keldon be more powerful than the galor? It is afterall an upgrade. Or you still haven't set the stats for all ships...
great work. I have played all the races except breen and they are working fine, but find the cardassians a little underpowered. You can swarm enoguh galors but don't have a real chance agains a decent klingon or romulan fleet later in the game. But still it is good for cardassians and breen to have weaker ships but in grater numbers. I understan the balancing will work it out but it will be a demandin job. any way, finaly a great ST game..
So with empire's ships strength scaled to what it is now i shall play Empire vs empire (original races are now to weak to play against)and wait for rebel alliance or some other side to match the strength. I have noticed that you can't see ships transiting a phase lane between gravity wells if you zoom out beyond some point (they should be seen as icons) This shall be a great mod!!!
thanx i managed it with v1.03 oh my god those imperial star destroyers have up to 70000 hull points and 240000 shields it takes me only one to take entire solar system, and with 4 of them to take entire huge map(5 systems) it must be some mistake

can someone help me? Had a Sins v1.0 -could not find MODS dir at C:\Documents and Settings\ \Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods and could not find -mods-button at options in game upgraded to v1.02, found MODS dir at specified destination and found option - mods- unpacked SOGA.rar and copied it with its sudirectories in -C:\Documents and Settings\ \Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of
