im have to disagree with u edsa as i cant stand the fact that every tec ship in all the mods ive got still suck this game need all the addions and modds it can get its just not that good to play as it is at the momement imagane a fleet that has both starwars and startrek ships that would rock lets say a group of ten players using that it would be a deadlock for hours i know because i play empire at wars with my couison and our latest battle has been going for 6mths it is completly even half the

the level is not hard coded it just has to be done to every folder of the game that has any ref to ships as when i was looking through my files i found a line stating that all ships were meant to level up but now i cant find it it seems that the 1.05 update ethier moves or removes it sorry for not being any more helpful but im not online much as im working most of the time im a computer tech person

phase lanes suc the game should make it possable to jump to any planet or starsystem that would make it harder to defend everyone of your planets and mean you could jump right to your ememies home planet like in the movies jump point to systems loaded in to a navi comp

well i meant that there needs to be better ships that the tec can get like bigger carriers and also which ship can capture the ships in graveyards ive researched it but dont know which ship to use

mate the priates are to friging hard to beat need more ships (like larger fleet sizes) i tryed to take a priate base with a fully upgraded fleet and lost with in 20secs my cap ships didnt even get a chance to retreat back in to phase space

have any of u people ever heard of a game called conquest wars if so u should remeber tha that game had fleet Adrmirals and it made the game lamer due to the fact that the ai for them would always not do as told like when told to retreat and repair nearly the entire fleet got destroyed due to the fact that they just kept moving it would only work if the ai could decide by it self which ships needed repairs more and as such those ships leave first then while still attacking the rest of th fleet

mines are all well and good but the problem with the game is lack of ships and races could some one make more and also the races need to be more diverse so that each ones strenghts and weakness count toward winning as even with all hard ai i cant lose they dont seem to use any of there reseach to help them but the game files stat that they do makes no sence :D

the game version is displayed in the lower right of the screen when on the menu page it dosent matter if u r running a mod or not the version is always there mine says version 1.5 and runs every mod fine but every two days i get an error about the mini dump if that happens just reset comp and it works fine also try to have the computer tell u where the reg file is for the game because if u have to reinstall it for any reason the computer can sumtimes miss the reg file so u may have to find it an
