BUMB! I'll start adding replays when I get home... We need more replays of 1 on 1s as thats where I feel individual strength is best shown. I'm all for team games, but when you have people in clans that have played many games together and know how each other plays and then you have people who have never played together well... you get the picture... Its interesting to watch clan games because of teamwork, but on the flipside what happens when your the p

In interest of the game community, I feel we should not point out names of people you feel suck. Just remember their names and don't play with them. The game has a small enough online community and any blacklist is useless because of smurfing so instead of blacklisting these said noobs TEACH THEM TO PLAY BETTER! Everyone improves, everyone wins.

@ilovedawkins I agree with most of your points however the culture shooter is not the most useful weapon. Its effects are not devastative, nor are they immediate, I would deem the Kostra cannon the MOST effective superweapon in the game. @Siddy Whats with the hate? But I can't argue against you, the culture shooter needs to be beefed.
Hi Blair Also lately I've had more and more desync problems then ever. I dont get the red desync error, but basically people are seeing different things in their screens. I suspect this is the reason for the crashes in game.
I have had this happen in one of my games as well! I have 2 copies of the game (I know, I like it that much) And my friend and I enjoy playing in the same

I totally understand, the other day I looked down and my shoe was untied. I had to stop walking bend over to tie it and stand up again. It ruined my life...

Alright! I've found that the Game Training manual depicts all the ships and their crew compiment. The Vassari Capital Ships by far have the most people packed inside haha. But the numbers are already there, now for the other things i brought up :/. Oh and another thing, @BINJURED we probably should allow non entrench people to join in? Entrench users can always go back to the original and as long as the vanillas are familiar with entrechment lore they

Ha! Well then it would of course need to be discussed. Now if only we had our own discustion board to work with that would be excellent. Currently on the Ue Forums I have a thread going on about it. However last time i checked you smelled of Sorrowsworn haha.

I love playing TEC, I love playing Advent, but regretfully if I believe the game will grow to late game i feel forced to play as vassari. WHY? Because it is undoubtibly the BEST LATE GAME RACE by a looonnng shot. Late game, there 3 things that tie into sucess. 1. *Fleet* 2. Mobility/Element of surprise. 3.Economy Now, now wait. what about empire? culture? Alligence?! No no, by end game your biggest money maker are trade ports and t

The best way to deal with that Kodiak spam is bombers, colbots, and hoshikos. Here is how. 1. You notice he is teching up military labs. 2. Start building LRFs and tech up carriers and hoshikos. 3.Try to rush him and knock out military labs WITHOUT REVEALING YOUR CARRIERS. 4.Fight any fight according to your normal strategy. 5. Build lots of carriers with bombers for strick craft. Keep them at your homeworld. 6. About

hahaha, well don't you think you would try to keep ships alive if you knew how many lives were on it? I'm not saying to keep a strict record, I'm saying as general knowledge when storytelling. As a figure we can all agree on, the average amount of warm bodies it takes to crew a ship, it doesn't matter if it dies or not what matters is the knowledge. Now say if you sent in a fleet of 15 Javelis only to be destroyed by 10 Transporters, and since the battle was so memorably ter

Hey Everyone! -Ue_Mercury here! Here's a quetion/idea I posed to my fellow Unified Explorers on our boards and decided it would be good to also discuss here as it would only make sense if we all role played at the same standard. I quote...myself - as a general question for everybody, what are we looking at in regard to the realistic representation of in game aspects. For example, how many people does it take to crew ships? Like say, if you were to lose a ship, how many
@Darvin3 Okay. LF fleets are more of a rush strategy then. That would make more sense. The "winnable" fleets I had come up with always lost all LF and at least one light carrier. It works but I'd be better off with LRMs and carriers. I can see kiting the LFs but then why even have LFs in that situation. The only full win was a 7 carrier spam againt a 25 LRM spam but that's rather obvious. A carrier spam can be countered with o
You're right and I should clarify. LF are good against cruisers but not Heavy Cruisers. LF are given a 50% boost in firepower against heavy armor only and that is Light Carriers, Repair/guard, and Support.
Which is why you should focus your LFs on their flak/carriers/non-heavy cruisers, let your LRFs, Flak, and SC on their LRFs. If you have air suppierioity, you should soon also win the over the LRFs, once you kil
I've seen a couple of posts where people have said they favor light frigates over long range frigates in multiplayer. Even going as far as to say they hardly ever research LRF anymore. I certainly see the value of LF over cruisers as they are very strong against them even before their antimatter steel/sabotage/interference is researched. The problem I have is I can't really come up with a plan that can keep the LFs in a fleet alive against LRMs. I've tried different comb

Chuck Norris CAN make an infinite trade route. Once Chuck Norris jumped his construction frigates into the enemy's home well, bombed his homeplanet and made 2 extracters, all before his opponent finished loading.
