As stated above, try playing the single player pantheon a few times. After that, look for matches titled noobs only. I am thinking that at some time in the future, I will try to host games for new players only to teach them a few valuable skills and answer any questions that they might have. Anyways, fire away with questions here, and welcome to demigod!

I have actually fallen in love with the briliant bauble. That extra exp goes a long way early game. Since I mostly play oak, I *need* to level fast, so this item covers up a weakness of my build style. Plus, being a lvl or 2 up over the opponent throughout the game if it works well early game is nice!

It is ballanced for team play. A game can ballance itself towards one on one fights, or it can ballance itself for team play. For example, in most FPS games a sniper is going to beat you silly unless you are another sniper. However, if you are on a team, a tank can counter a sniper quite handily, leading to AT infantry countering tanks whilst being countered by snipers. Demigod is the same way. Reg is very easy to kill due to his low armor and HP. Give him an ally with a fair bit of HP or ski

No idea, but if you make Oak's wards attackable with only 300 hp, his minion builds will just dissapear. Find Oak, Kill oak. Spirits and wards go *poof*. And while true, spirts are decent, a decent tower should shred them. As long as you have the health and firepower upgrades, I just cannot see this being a very viable tactic.

The HMWAR X. As for Earth based guns, gotta agree with poster number two. FN-FAL, by far. And actually, I place the AK 47 over the M16. Its durable, its cheap, and it takes no maintainence to speak of. Accurate it may not be, but it makes up for it in resiliance and sheer mass production qualities.

I have purchased a fair (alright, large) number of items from SD. I also have connection issues that I have voiced concern over. So, the implied correlation does not seem to work. I do have the utmost respect for Stardock, the rate at which they are bringing to the fore a brand new multiplayer system is astounding, but the multiplayer "as is" is...problematic. I enjoy the progress reports, and I find the tone refreshing. What makes me consfused is while Frogboy is free to call a spade a

Ok, soul power 2 and 3 just don't have enough bang for their buck. Swap out those two for a point or two of penitance and that build gets remarkably better. Penitance keeps that DPS train rolling, and can allow for a quick kill if they run. The faster you get cash means the faster you get minion boosting stat items. Faster you get items, the faster you level. The faster you level, the faster you kill you them....and the snowball builds until Oak stands supreme.

Oak and sedna. Oak gives mana and health to everyone in the area. Sedna heals and has passive buffs. Pounce and penitance both interupt and cast fast. Oak is slow but strong enough to muscle through most things, while Sedna is fast and can cap flags.

I am using a DGL 4500 router and kaspersky internet security. No matter how hard I try, I cannot get my ports to forward (according to Port Forwards port checker). I have tried running my computer in the DMZ without the firewall on, made sure I have the ports forwarded to my specific computer on the network, and still nothing. Any ideas folks? (I did follow port forward's guide to make sure I did not have any errors in my router set up)

I believe Oak should be the model for ballance in this game. Why? Because every last ability he has is good. Unlike, say, Sedna where you never take minions, or QoT where uproot is kinda useless, Oak has a range of abilities that all work and are all good at what they do. The trick against Oak is DO NOT let him get started. Also, if you have less than 1k hp, get clear. Penitance will eat most of that, and then Oaks autoattack will finish you. Remember, discretion is the better part of valor.<

Frogboy, while I do have the utmost respect for Stardock's attempts to fix the game, the fact that it needs to be fixed at launch, let alone remaining in an unplayable state a month after launch, is simply bad. I do not know of another major game release that has had this many problems in recent history. Mind you, the gameplay of demigod? Epic. The problem is, if I want to play with other people, I have to spend 3-4 times as long in the lobby as in game. Good luck fixing it, I'll just practic

The latest patch (v.0014 I think) has made multiplayer unusable for me. I was able to join one game in approximately 3-4 hours of trying to join in. The game, while a little finicky, worked fine before this last patch. To put it simply: hit the "undo" button, please.

You missed the +armor for Oaks lvl 3 and 4 raise dead ward. Well...its not listed on the ability but it does come up as a buff. States its 250 and 500 respectively, but ive heard it is only 200/400.

I would love to do so, unfortunately I followed the guide and my ports are not forwarded. Forwarded both TCP and UDP, from 6000 to 6200. Nothing nada zilzh. All programs are in my trusted folder. Basic info: I use a D-link DGL 4500 and Kaspersky Internet Security. Any help would be GREAT. EDIT: I spent the last 30 minutes trying to make things work and I am uncertain of my error. I placed my laptop in the DMZ, tried turning my whole internet security off, forward the ports to the r

It all depends on how your opponent is playing. For example, TB tends to focus on burst attacks, so I counter by boosting my max HP. On the other hand, rook tries to whittle you down with towers etc. Therefore, HP regen helps. Also, if you are a hit and run type (I'm looking at you, TB and UB), regen is better than quantity, because you should not ever stay arround long enough to actually die. The faster that HP/MP returns, the sooner you can run back in.

Try using any character who has a quick interupt or stun. Oak's penitance works well for this. Now then, as soon as you think they are going to use bite, pop off your stun or interupt. With good timing, you can keep bite attacks to a minimum. Also, Erebus is very very squishy. Tends to be vulnerable to burst damage that is unexpected. Again, oaks penitance does wonders here. Overall, Erebus is a timing match. If you can keep your interupt running well, he is toast.

Yes, they have said they want to add arranged teams via a Clan Wars Expansion (free, I might add). Also, please turn down the battle.net fanboi attitude, it is wearing a bit thin.

If the lost remark was directed to me, you need to watch Gundam 00 (season 1 is on youtube thanks to bandai). That is the logo of Celestial Being, a private armed force dedicated to the eradication of war by initiating armed interventions whenever someone provokes an armed conflict.

Oh, they stack alright. Try stacking a few good chestplates, it boosts your survivability through the roof. Or mage slayer and ashkandor....The only limitation is that you cannot have more than one of the *same* item, for example, you can have only one scalemail equiped.
