Eville- One thing you may want to add back in is (sorry I can not remember the ability name) the ability to occupy crystal/metal astoroids on non-colonizable planets. In the normal game the colonizing ships had that skill. Just a thought, if nothing else I always loved doing that so I could see if the AI was crossing that area. When I try to open Sins Developer it gives me DLL errors and tells me to reinstall the program, I am having a bumpy road learning to mod this bloody game! Any thoughts, sorry to jam up the forums with my stupidity... I am to stuburn to just give up.

Okay quick question... I am simply adding a capital ship into a player file and running into a WEIRD game breaker. I am simply adding an existing capital ship with adjusted stats for an early test. When I add the ship I change the count and add it in under the other ships listed on the file. When I load the game the interface is broken things are miss sized and out of view, the class has no money or Player Icon?!? What am I missing that is ca

Great Star Wars expierance... I can tell this will shape up to be the mod/game that trully captures the scale of star wars! (maybe be the 1st) BTW-The Executer made me giggle when I first flew it into an enemy's system.

But I understand some ships (Galaxy etc) should be more limited.

I like what you re doin with this, are you going to focus on "balancing" the borg with the other races when demo.03 comes out or are you going to allow the borg to be over powered (20 galaxies to take down 1 borg cube I think you said) I think let them be over powered :) its an add on...

I may be flat out stupid but I can not get the patch to download! Bottom corner of impulse says "download impulse update paused" out of the gate. I click on update under Sins and "please wait until Impulse finishes connecting to install an application. It should not be hard to download a patch but I have restarted and tried everything but unistalling Impulse or Sins... is this a known issue? [e digicons]:typo:[/e]

I played this today with these research trees and noticed a few problems that could easiy be fixed but make it hard to play. First the ice/volcanic planets being last on the tree causes huge problems for most maps these should be acheivable early on (3 research stations not 8 or 9). Second is the trade stations not being able to research the crystal/metal resources really limits the resource management for the federation. I recomend working th
