Maybe they don't like you lol. :) But seriously, you should send the replay to Stardock. This is definitely a bug. This shouldn't happen.

I think this game should have a campaign. It has such a great back-story and if they have a lot of missions, maybe incorporating each race. It could not only keep fans interested in the game longer, it could introduce noobs to the finer aspects of the game. I actually had to ask my friends about fleet logistics, capital ship crews, and colonizing planets, which wasn't explained in the tutorial. Plus they could teach you things like capturing asteroids, star travel, wormhole travel, eac
Oh yeah, with all the problems in the world, Piracy of entertainment is the scourge of society. Why do they even concern themselves with this? Maybe they should try to get on the free-content train like NBC has. They could make so much money through advertisements if one system was able to monopolize the trade of free content like iTunes has the paid content. But that would be to hard. They just like to blame it on Internet users like us.
well, when I build it, it says Phase Node, but doesn't allow passage through to other phase nodes, which I've seen work in the same game. This was in 1.05.
maybe this will change it in v1.1 when they reduce the Phase Stabilizer antimatter to 0.
Instead of an mmo, they should make a movie of KOTOR instead of that Clone Wars junk that's coming out in August. That would make fans happy.
I use the Vasari's resource capture ability on Navigators to thrust myself into an economic dominance at the beginning of the game. While my Advent friend has 2.4 and 2.1 metal and crystal respectively, I have 6.7 and 5.8. (as I expand, I can see them get really high like about 14 before they tank because of fleet logistics) I then use that power to build massive fleets, build up my credit economy, spread my culture, research, build up defenses, and explore my planets. (in that order) By the tim
For the Vasari 1. Colonizer 2. Battleship 3. Carrier 4. Siege ship (3 and 4 can be changed if on a smaller map) 5. Battleship 6. Disable/Repair 7. Carrier 8. Colonizer (if I am doing a split fleet thing, which I usually do. If not, just move everything else up one slot) 9. Battleship 10. Siege ship 11. Disable/Repair 12. Carrier 13. Battleship 14. Carrier 15. Battleship 16. Siege Ship. I rarely go all the way down the
I mostly play as a Vasari and I notice that it takes a few minutes for me after building a phase stabilizer for it to act as a phase node and travel to other phase nodes even though it says "Phase Node" on its planet description. Is there a delay for it and if so how much? Or am I just being foolish?
Well, outposts would be another thing to balance economics vs. military, and the whole culture affecting orbital bombardment would force people to build more defenses. A pure military outpost would never surrender if getting beaten to a pulp, but if you have civilians there...there would be other factors. It would certainly add a new twist to the game. The real question is, what abilities do outposts have. Just tactical structures, or would you allow certain logistical structures like M
Yeah, that's a good idea. As a culture man myself, even though I am Vasari, it would be a great idea. Like if some planet had only 35% allegiance, you would only have to deal 35% damage and kill 35% of the population before they surrender. but if it has 110% allegiance, like a home world, you have to deal them 110% damage of their planet health before they kick it. It would make it a lot harder to kill a home world than some planet in the middle of no where.
Yes, good calculations, but you have to factor in Fleet Logistics. Researching improves function without increasing upkeep. I usually wait until about level 3 or sometimes 4 Fleet Logistics before I research Phase Missile technology, shields, and hulls. I sometimes wait even till end of game to improve armor, antimatter reserves, pulse weapons, and almost never get to wave upgrades. It all depends on the game.
The Vasari Crippler is quite useless to me. Others might think differently.
Personally, I like to go with the Colonizer first, but remember, once you get your second cap ship ability besides colonize, be careful using it. I got in trouble because my capital ship blew all its antimatter on that and was as useless as the colony frigate.
Well, I get to a point in the game where I have more money than I can spend. That's when I do Emergency Facilities upgrade, put a huge amount of defenses up at choke points, and if I have all needed research done, everywhere, and search planets. I like to do some searching before the two fleets have their showdown, if possible.
They should have a lobby specifically for noobs.
