And I'm just curious... Does anyone want me to go ahead and make the lancers?

You can shrink their DPS by killing frigs, but if you kill the caps, the frigs are unprotected... It is better to kill caps...
More than likely, it assumes that because you have the power to completely bypass its other planets, it has no chance to win... Or it could be a bug...
Yeah and then use the Guardians shield ability for the AM drain...
So essentially you want my idea without the bars displaying each separate miti at once. And I do agree with this concept (that is what I said earlier) as it would work, but it will suck up a lot of computing power... There actually is a guy writing a sins book.. I can't remember which forum its in though... As for the OPR-DPR system (the "A" was a typo...), it relies on the concept that ships are approximately 95% structure and 5% nanites. When
Ship ideas are cool, but what role will they serve that is not currently fulfilled? They sound great, but unneccassary.
Well.. This idea is about making the caps more powerful. In this way.. You get the following hierarchy for TEC direct combat ships: Cobatl The suggestion was to increase the power of the current caps while adding in new ones that are ever
Uhh... My book has nothing to do with Sins other than it is sci-fi... But anyways... The different bars was a seperate idea... It was something I was adding... As for the thrashing... It could still occur... Have to ships that are NOT on auto attack could be beside your ship... All you have to do is switch back and forth between having one attack and the other one wait and you end up with the same result.. unless of course it carries over from one damage type
Not really... You could find the ability that slowly drains AM and use that and then you could just use the special ability of Sentinels and the Vasari lf...
You couldn't aim at an IPBM... You are dealing with weapons that move at the speed of light... Good luck with the aiming... By the way... The Kostura is a giant bullet looking thing...
Just a few ideas... 1. Researchable Sova Upgrades: make it launch more SC's... Simple enough. 2. Rearcheable Kol Upgrades: Gauss Cannon=>Railgun. Yields a very high increase in damage and range but decreases firing rate somewhat... 3. Make the Phase Missile Swarm act like phase missiles!!!!! (as is, they cannot penetrate shields...) 4. The following ship ideas... Destroyers : <s
Top Strategy Games: 1. Sins and ORB 2. AoE and Civilization 3. Perimeter 4. Empire at war.
Well... While fleets of carriers only deal massive damage, I took a fleet of 40 transporters and devastated a series of planets. My opponent was apparently waiting for me to get to his homeworld... When I got there, I met two hundred flaks and three kols with flak burst... As for the part about the bombers... perhaps instead of launching a squad, you could launch one "super fighter" sort of like Vader's ship. It is still a fighter but unlike the
1. I like that idea. Nuke and Gauss are both kinda weak for attacks that ought to destroy a frigate in one shot... 2. Well...The Kortul has Volatile Nanites which can devastate frigates by making them weaker and damage each other upon death. The Radiance has Cleansing Brilliance which when used with Malice is a fleet destroyer... 3. I actually like this as well... At first you have "Lancer," Colonizer, and Destroyer classes of caps that come
I was talking about 1 on 1 fights between the HC's... I know that never happens, but it was hypothetical... true... one illum can kill three cobalts easily and possibly four...
Try pairing it with a lvl 6 Dunvo with its ulimate ability active. the ability cuts the anti-matter usage by a third for gauss and sheild plus with Dunvo's shield reengergizer these two mesh very well at higher levels, almost unstoppable with appropriate support vessels, ie hoshikos.
That is true... 1 Kol +1 Dunov +1 Marza +5 Kodiaks +20 Cobalts +10 Carriers +10 Hoshikoes=one fleet that just won't die... Sure, you n
This is a tough one... If you incorporate abilities, that system reverses... Kodiak The kody ability is not combat related and thus is not the best... Destras can damage everything near them so that would likely give them the edge. Enforcers can just switch to reintegration and heal back the damage you've dealt... Kodies are about 18 dps and destras are 21-ish. Reintegration heals 30 per second. By that token, they can
That would be very interesting if it did now wouldn't it... Just have a hundred fly in and just kill everything in sight with their presence...
Well.. there is a tiny bit of friction, but you won't notice it unless you are going 99.999% of the speed of light though... (two hydrogen atoms per cubic meter) There is one... Get a lot of cobalts, Kodiaks, and Kols and have them form up in a tight formation... They will fly on top of each other...
That is true...
More than likely, Earth would be one of the "Central Worlds," but I doubt that it would be the Capital... Naeve may well be the capital... Probably, after phase space, it became more of a tourist spot than a place to live... People moved elsewhere to live and went to Earth on vacation...
No... mitigation neutralizes said damage... ex: 100 damage incoming with 50% miti It neutralizes half of that so your shields only take 50 damage.
i'm not quite sure how many people would actually pay attention to it. i mean this game isn't meant for actually watching the battles play out and doing lots of micro. while ships are fighting, you are supposed to be doing other helpful things, like making more frigs, upgrading, things of the like.
I don't know... I think people would... If you incorporated it into the tutorials, I think it would help.
Yeah... Problem was, I was trying to avoid this...
True... If we had infinite processor power, what would be nice would be having a rough damage area scale... Start on red and slide up the spectrum as the DPS goes higher and higher... (dark red=1 DPS; bright blue=10,000 DPS) If you could "add" the colors you could show how they overlap, you could potentially see a fleet's "kill zones." (this would be especially effective with the "Formation Lock" suggestion). Ex: With just a bunch of Cobalts, you just get a forwa
Oh... but they are always watching... But really... just make it be like a militia type thing so its neutral and kinda like a starbase... Give it some insane health (the likes of which you would never kill) and then just have it wait... So... Ancient Guard Max Mitigation: 80% Shields: 12,000 Hull: 150,000 Armament: 3x Prime Cannons Abilities:
