its not even officially confirmed lol its all hype
As far as I'm concerned I hope they officially UNconfirm it! Please do not destroy a good franchise for the sake of making a buck!!! (like that's ever gonna happen) ;P
That brings me to Age of Conan (in response to FrostMage asking if this is a worthwhile MMO to try out).... a large amount of bugs added weekly to every game patch you can see how frustrating it is to justify paying monthly fees for
FrostMage
Has anyone here played 'Age of Conan'? I'd be interested to hear any thoughts on that MMO. It got good reviews and if I was gonna play a MMORPG that would be the one I'd 'want' to play. I don't really know if it's really any good though. Any thoughts?
Ummmm ... if you have Google, you can find these kind of things in no time. I just typed in 'Vista + registry fix' and I got a ton of hits. Here's the link: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=SUNA,SUNA:2006-20,SUNA:en&q=Vista+%2b+registry+fix good luck :)
Actually, I'm currently in the process of trying to win the game with just my culture. I've managed to secure two chokepoints between myself and the enemy and I've been building broadcast centers like there's no tommorow. lol I'm playing the TEC on a random small map. It's loads of fun... I love building up my empire. I don't think I'd last 20 minutes in a multiplayer game though. My pace is too slow. lol Cheers
Find a good third party registry fixer for Vista.
Lucas Arts owns the rights to KOTOR, not Bioware. EA is going ahead with a KOTOR MMO in partnership with Lucas Arts.
Yah... that's what I thought.
Tec Refinery as requested.
What a bunch of whiners, I'm sure this will be great! As fot the other star wars mmo... it's out of canon and pretty much crap... I have faith in Bioware... they = gods
I love Bioware as well, but technically we don't even know if Bioware will even be involved with the product. Remember that EA bought Bioware, so they have access to all their assets and copyright. I wonder what good ol' George over at LucasArts thinks about the deal. He's probably willing to go al
Isn't there already a star wars MMO? Do we really need another one? I know it's set in a different era but come on! Anyways, I have a feeling this is more EA's idea than Biowares. EA is looking for a way to get more shares in the MMO market and their trying to do it off of Bioware's back. *In a C3PO voice* It's a sad day in gaming history if you ask me... the beginning of the end for Bioware. *hangs his head* :SNIFF!:
Gee... I've never seen people get so excited about a product that isn't even actually, sorta, kinda, technically, ummmm... done yet. LOL You Sinners are NUTS!! Wait... I'm a sinner too. D'OH!! ;P
All this talk of old RPGs gets me wanting to play Icewind Dale again. LOL Those games were really fun in their time. It's funny how we look back at games that were considered having incredible graphics at the time and say how they now are not good because of the graphics. I still remember the reviews of Duke Nukem saying how amazing the graphics were. ;P
Baldur's Gate is an awesome game. And don't rule out the first Neverwinter Nights. It was a real blast to play. Plus there are alot of expansions for the original NWN.
Hee hee... the word patch is starting to remind me of the word spam. Spam spam spam eggs and spamspam with a side of spam. LOL
There should be a race in SoaSE that is based off of Stone Temple Pilots. :CONGRAT: Sorry... got the game on my mind all the time. :SURPRISED: As far as STP and Alice in Chains... they KICK MAJOR ASS!! Love'm!
I like the rogues although they could use more caps and a way to colinize planets.
I think the whole premise behind the rogues is that they are underdogs and can't colonize planets... they 'steal' them. Hence the term 'Rogue". Cheers. :)
I agree wholeheartedly!
Thanks guys. :) There will be more unsung heroes on the way. If any of you have a request, I'd be more than happy to give it a shot.
You should feel sorry for that person - they probably had Turrets of the Keyboard. A very sad condition indeed... They need your caring and understanding, not to be ignored I think you mean a swift kick and then an ignore. I'd care for somebody decent. Somebody shouting "PENIS"! every ten seconds is not decent, and deserves a good kicking. Preferably in between the legs if they have one of what they seem so fixated on.
I think he was being sarcastic. LOL
Here are two more wallpapers I have done. Tell me what you think. :) A TEC Scout ship doing his rounds.
Do a "Resistance is Futile" message with a Psi Antimatter Recharger
You asked for it so here it is... :) By frostmage at 2008-07-16
What the heck is that!! lol (Yes I'm refering to the fubar'd planet above) ;P
how about the whole "Dozens of habitable planets" ? i mean, earthlike planets are common, but still excepitionally rare. in reality
Ummm... Isn't this statement kinda opposing itself? They are common, but exceptionally rare? Which reality is this? ;)
Yep... that's the highest settings. I've got it on my desktop and it looks pretty good to me. :) Thanks for the compliments guys. I will be doing more of these concentrating on the less 'popular' or 'cool' ships and structures in the game. Just for fun. :)
There's a little annoying bug I've found that is a little frustrating. Sometimes when I have a big TEC fleet some of my ships just suddenly decide they want to fly off to another planet. No phase jumping or anything, they just start to fly toward the other planet at normal speed. I don't mind too much if a couple of light frigats are doing this, but in my last game one of my seige Capitals kept doing it and It was hurting my ability to win battles. Has anyone else had this issue come up?<br/
ahhh... Vista.... Sorry, I don't know the filepath for that system, but I'm sure someone will be able to pipe up and tell you. ;)
