I think this is an interesting concept, but this would be adding an entire new dynamic to the game, adding to the complexity. I completely understand what you are getting at, with the idea of specific plannets want specific things, and if you attune your broadcasts you would increase the allegience change rate. The last 2 LAN games I have played over Hamachi with my friends has resulted in one or both of us being declared "Defeated" randomly. REMOVE MINES FROM THE GAME. They are EXTREMELY OVERPOWERED. I played an AI on EASY. And lost my entire fleet of 5 capital ships to just a spam of around 20 mines when i wasnt looking.

Cause: Was starting a game in Random Large Multi. Locked Teams, all speeds set to max. Me, and 3 Allies on Unfair. 4 Opponets on normal. Game crashed right when I pressed play.

Cant wait! Im most anxious to see the updated graphics, and improved AI. Now in impulse Click the Blue orb and click "Check for appliacation updates" as often as you can. Also I [U]think[/U] I know why they are using impulse, I believe it is because we might crash the server that contains the patch :P 500+ people downloaing same time.

IF YOU WANT TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER, you can ONLY do so with other PEOPLE THAT HAVE THE BETA. Singleplayer, Will not be affected, You can play normally with the beta changes in effect.

Plus they do get the upgrades to their fleet size.

You might be in cinematic mode, it disables much of the UI for video recording. Phase lanes are normally Grey, if it is the color of your icon it means that is where your culture is spreading, if it is not Grey or your color it means that the opponents culture is spreading.
