also keep note that, while the graphics aren't "superior", i believe the massive amounts of ai that is being run on a _single core_ is what mainly brings fps down. not to mention that it seems like the game is forcing vsync+double buffering. having a "high-end" system isn't the end all of high frames. there are quite a number of other things that can affect the number of fps. so much for being an advanced pc user.
