Ok, it is working, even though it is still whining about my second monitors resolution. But here is the weird thing, all the settings I did in the .ini file made the game work, but didn't actually change the game. I still had to go into the preferences in the game and tell it to be at 1920 by 1080 and to be windowed.

First off, thank you for the help. It did work, but I had to turn off my other monitor. Is there something I can do to make it work with both on?

If I go into the game folder and launch GalCiv2.exe (GalCiv 2: Dread Lords) the game runs, and was able to run for a while, but now it crashes when it is trying to generate the map. Both Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor do not run at all. When all three crash they have the same windows excuse "APPCRASH" (pretty lame if you ask me). I'm running on a custom built machine with an AMD Phenom 2 x4 3.40GHz, 8 Gig memory, a ATI radion 5770 HD, and while running Windows 7 pro x
