O.K. So why include a DVD-Rom if you can't play unless you already bought through Steam. What about people who waited to buy this, and now they have to pay more just to play?
So that you don't have to use up some of your bandwidth limit every time you want to install the game, and can instead install it off the DVD? Installing of the DVD is much faster, and saves Bandwidth, which, believe it or not,

Is it possible that the Bomber line has been re-purposed to reference something else - say, Frigates or Corvettes. If so it could open up some interesting possibilities, though I sadly doubt it.

Main problems: Advent is severely OP, TEC is semi-OP and unoriginal, and Vasari is unoriginal, and is accomplished by the Vasari Loyalist Titan as is with its gate spawning ability. For Titans to be non-combat ships with unique powers, sure, that I can understand. What you've suggested as powers, however, is crazily unbalanced and not really too different to what Superweapons already accomplish - or are meant to anyway.

It should tell you in game, I think. If not, simply go in game, go to the mods screen, click "Show mod path", and it should say something along the lines of "C:\Users\[Name]\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods Rebellion v[version number]". There's probably an easier way, but that works.

Start task manager and see if a process for it has started. Ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the game. Make sure your computer is not doing anything intensive whilst trying to launch, as this will make it take significantly longer. Additional info: What are your machine specs? What OS are you running?

I generally don't bother renaming my ships and planets. I will sometimes, but the 11 character limit annoys me. Planets I'll just name randomly dependent on what mood takes me at the time. Some times it could be a Sci-Fi planet name, other times a name I've used previously in a story I wrote for fun, and other times just some random name that takes my fancy at the time, or that randomly popped into my head. TEC Ships I'll generally name after gre

Alright, after a bit of screwing around with adding and removing a lot of stuff finally managed to fix that problem, Thanks Gao. Is there a specific line or buff type that requires an effect, as many buffs don't, yet obviously some - like this one - do, and I have not yet recognized a pattern. Also, a few questions on what can be accomplished with buffs: Is there a type of buff, or chain thereof, that boosts a ship's acceleration without affectin

If you are looking for a somewhat similar map by default in Single Player, Gateway is probably the closest you'll get. You start off like in any other map, and your opponent can get to you as easily as any time else, but rush the tech for between stars jumping and you can travel past planet "Gateway", for which the map is named, through its parent star and into the other system. This is the only way to enter the other system - through the planet gateway. Hold Gateway [Or the star beyond t
