Sweet! man, that had to be a lot of editing . there's a massive amount of new files. the sky boxes are another standard. the gravity well and planet resizing works well. the ship resizing is a grate idea. i think you made them just big enough to better interrupt the action. the volcanic planets look awesome. the only qlich i got, was a mini dump when i would try to load a preview in the map maker. your stuff is awesome, and i have been messing around with the files in rebellion. (In Rebellion) all the standard texture files work other than the ones you added (because of the new entry files). i didn't notice a difference between the standard desert, terran, ice, and volcano mesh files and the core pack. the gas planet mesh i believe works fine if a re-size is what you where going for. the star mesh files however, made the stars bigger than the gravity well and ship jumpi

just wanted to show of some of my UI Mod (or why i haven't been sleeping) it WORKS in Rebellion 1.0 :-) thanks for all the helpful post and tutorials. other than making the UI minimal and clean, lots of transparencies, I re-sized the race planet modules so the planet modules overlays don't take up the majority of the gravity well( you can actually see whats going on, on a busy planet.) fighters and bomber unit main overlay

i have found it a bit bummer when i miss "one of our planets is under attack, our, pirate raiders are attacking one of our planet" due to another race event sound playing. i think event race sounds don't step on each other because they use mostly one voice actor per race. they would sound like there studding. i combined all 3 event race voice sounds into one ( Vasari for the time being ) it helps a lot with not tuning event announcements out and far less mechanical sound

i think Dialogue sounds (i.e : Build voice, attack order, Pirate raiders have left there base, planet module complete) all have priority to the current sound playing. no voices "stepping" on each other. if an event sound is playing wile your corvettes build sound ques, it will not play. nor will play after current sound is finished. it just skips it. i think explosion sound layer up to 5 and the have priorities. hope that helped

iv'e been trying to remove the "bright white cloud" around the stars in "mid solar system view" im not talking about the glow directly around the star , our on the surface of the star. but the white cloud that goes over the star when you zoom in and out. it also dims when you put a planet between your prospective and a sun. its a bit of an eye strain and give me head aches. &nbs

you guys know any good way to extract sound files from other games? i've been trying soooo many programs and video tutorials and cant find one to work. im trying to get the dialog sounds from "ground control 2 " ( SGL files) "earth 2160" (WD files) and "homeworld 2" (BIG files) i have tried using you tube to record, but there's too much background noise in the videos.
