In general, MP games will all have "Normal" fleet, "Allied Victory",
"Allied Victory" isn't needed for Locked Teams. In fact, its come to my atttention that it may be causing problems, when asshats refuse to quit after being defeated. (ie: requires killing all of the replacement AI's planets as well, not just the remaining human's planets). So, I would reccomend NOT turning on Allied Victory (with

No one mentions also building turrets within range of the building starbase. But if they can reach, they also help, and are quite effective against Starbases & Cap ships (20DPS, 100% attack modifier). Later the T4 defense tech, Syngery, raises dmg by 12.5%, and shields by 250 for each add'l turret in a group, for up to 5 (ie max +50%dmg, +1000shield). Too bad the tier 2 civil tech "Communal Labor", doesn't speed up construction rates fast e
As the Advent, I can have a titan with 6 caps (4 being shield re-generators), 10 shield sharing cruisers and a swath of 20+ frigates and it still seems like I can't put down an enemy fleet half that size.
Your fleet is all defense oriented. You don't have enough offense (killing power). You need more than "20+ frigate", and less than "10 sheild sharing cruisers". Progenitor Caps with Shield Restore are great defense, but the Malice ability

Thus screwing the rest of your team if they want to keep playing. Whereas if you just quit, the replacement AI continues to play, and in many cases actually does better than the human player

Repeated/alternating shots at a homeworld, say every 3 minutes (with 2 guns or more), will eventually kill the homeworld and their entire empire (or all surrounding planets), if they don't have any culture protecting them. But it takes about 20 minutes since allegiance change is capped at: -0.07%/sec. Super weapon summary .

You only need 2 planets to rush STTC. Upgrade their logistics, 4 Civics at your home, 3 at a roid or dwarf. Or scuttle your frigate factory and put 5 on your home and 1 each on adjoining roid & dwarf. Don't buy Military labs. With 2 Cap ships you'll soon enuf have 2 free labs. Don't colonize larger planets untill you can immediately strip them. Then go on a stripping spree. Build multiple Cap ships for more income & labs, and use s

Bdelong, Very nice list, thanks for putting it together.
- Override Safety Protocol (Big Red Button) - TEC starbases, when upgraded with 2 levels of override safety protocol, can self-destruct and take out almost everything within a very large radius with them. The upside is that enemy frigates and low level (or damaged) capital ships are destroyed. The downside is that you lose the starbase and this ability also affects friendly units. This ability is the most power

Opening with two Halcyons is fine. I disagree with Teun's comment to 'NEVER' build more than 1 Cap ship at the start of the game. Even more so in Rebellion compared to Diplomacy. I think this also explains a couple minidumps I had in short succession while strip rushing that I sent in earlier (June 7th). I was suspicious of the stripping completing at near the same time as the planet was being bombed out, but wasn't sure. Anyway, if needed, maybe the Devs can compare the minidump files.

Does this explain it: the first number is the horizontal resolution and the next is the vertical. IE: 1440 wide/by 900 tall.
And switching between one twin to the other doesn't 'do' anything. IE the "Apply" button doesn't register an actual change. So it seems the 'hooks' per-say are identical.[/quote
