I would like to see that as an empire grew their sustainable ship numbers also grew. More planets, more supply points for fleets. Also, once a certain number of planets were under your control it would be cool to see ultimate ships and structures come into play. Something only the ultimate empires could have.

I would like to see in a patch or expansion that when a ship or structure blew up it transferred blast damage to any surrounding objects including enemy and friendly. I also like the idea for mines, minesweepers, and minelayers suggested by canusamar. Hence, a ship friendly or enemy fly over it and it blows up. I also really want to see ship movement become a bigger part in engagements and fleet formations that can protect your powerful, but poorly protected ships. <br
I just recently finished a game where i had trade ports on every habitable planet, but in every instance the dead asteroids broke the trade lanes. I was the Advent.
I think the projectiles should take the same amount of time to travel to the planet as a ship could as a crow flies. I only have built and fired a few super weopens for the reason that the projectile takes so long to get there.
Defensive Capabilities: I think that carriers have become way too powerful because they can, like people above me have said, can quickly move around and constantly regenerate their hull and shields. I think cutting their speed, shields and hull points to make them easier to destroy would help the game. Offensive Capabilities: NO CARRIERS IN THE WORLD TODAY CARRY ONE SQUADRON OF AIRCRAFT.If that is the case why do the carriers in SoaSE only carry one squadron. I know this game is
I think that in Sins 2 there should be more emphasis on maneuvering the ships rather than lining them up and duking it out until one side gives up. I also agree with the other posts of adding a whole new type of ship and having more direct combat abilities rather than having support after supporting ship.
