Will any of the expansions (or future patches) adress the lack of multi-core support for SoaSE?

I'm generaly not in favour of remaking movies. The only reasons to do so would be if the movie had great potential in terms of ideas and/or script, but the finished product is hampered by bad directing or acting or otherwise. I suppose I'd like to see those new Star wars movies redone, to make them more in line with the old movies and, well, not suck. That would of course require throwing out absolutely everything those movies did - including the script - and keep George Lucas from touc
Alien. The design and concept is perect.

I liked C&C3 and Kane's Wrath. When I first heard EA was taking over the development I was pissed, but when it released, I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's not up there with the best C&C-games, but it is certainly not a stain on C&C's legacy, like say Escape from Monkey Island was to the MI franchise, and Fallout 3 seems to be for the FO-franchise. I agree KW needs some balancing, though.
I'm not a very avid FPS-gamer, but I really enjoyed Duke Nukem 3D and the first Unreal Tournament. More recently, I have also played through Bioshock, which was cool.
If you want to check out a 4X-game (ie. not RTS), you should go get Civilization 4. You can find it packed with the two expansions (Warlords and Beyond the Sword) dirt cheap these days.
These are the ones that I own and have either completed (if there was one central campaign) or played enough to be very familiar with them. Age of Empires / Rise of Rome Age of Empires 2 / The Conquerors Age of Empires 3 Age of Mythology Black & White C&C C&C 2 / Firestorm C&C 3 / Kane's Wrath C&C Red Alert / Counterstrike / Aftermath C&C Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge Civilization 2 Civilization 3 Civilization 4 / Warlords / Beyond the Swor
