Actually Coelocanth, that argument is logical. Ask any phylosophy professor. It's hard to explain, but mental beliefes can also be interpreted as reality. These step helps set up a mental belief, which can be interpreted as reality, and thus it is logical.

\
It's not impossible to explain at all. It's quite well explained in evolutionary theory.
True :P. Still, there are many questions. Like when did simple compounds come together to make the first cell? There are so many questions, yet so few answers :P.
I am majoring in the physics field (electromagnetics). But what I find interesting is that many scientists from all the feilds of science still believe in god. This may sound strange to some people, but even in the science field, it's impossible to describe certain aspects of the universe. Just watch a video on how a cell works, its so amazingly complex, yet we have several trillion of these wonderous machines that make up our bodies. But
I disagree. A mobile starbase is kinda necessary expecially if there is a limit to how many you can construct. What has to happen is figuring our a way that will not make the starbase completely powerful. My suggestion is that a player should have the ability to disassemble his starbase and place it on a transport ship that is capible of moving and phasing. Then once that transport finds a suitable place to stop, it can reassemble the starbase in that area.
oh yah, and there should be a limit to 1 starbase per planet. Anything more is overkill.
Now, i am not playing the beta game, but after reading the posts. I came up with several idea's and see what you guys think. First off I like all your ideas, but how about also limiting the number of starbases that you can build to around 5. This would help prevent players from dropping a base at every planet and since these things are supposed to be so powerful, you should only have a limited supply of them (i am aware that there is alread
Lol, my interior design would be just a hallway in vacum. Then get my men to where more advanced version of our space suits in order to run the ship. They have a crew quarters of course with a pressurized interior, but anything outside that they have to where a spce suit. In this case, no matter how many holes you poke in the hull, or how many rooms are open to space your men are still able to work anywhere on the ship.
Well if anyone is interested, i got siddy's translations after his numeric remark: "I like the smell of Marzas missile barrage in the morning, smells like a... forum whine!" There you have it. You can see it for yourself using this binary/text converter: http://www.roubaixinteractive.com/PlayGround/Binary_Conversion/Binary_To_Text.asp
Anyone else find this interesting. Sin's was released on February after missing the Christmas season of 2007. And yet 10 months after it's release, it's still popular enough to be a serious contender this upcomming Christmas season :P. That's pretty amazing. And has probobly been my best investment in a game! And congrats Ironclad for making such a well made game :) !!!!!
You owe yourself at least one online game, just try it out. You might like it, know I did :). And you will not be killed in mere minutes, trust me. And its not that hard to turn the tables in game. You could be losing one moment, and winning the next. Just have fun, thats all that counts.
I just began playing online, and It's quite fun, so I lost my first two games. But after that I won my next two games (happened today). Its not that hard to play multiplayer really, just learn the basic setup, and you should be fine. And if you can work with your team mates, its even better. I am nowhere near pro status But its still possible to win games, just have fun, and don't worry about being a pro or n
I'm also getting the same message, man this is annoying.
basically it was durring the time when I had multiple updates pending to be installed via reboot. After I rebooted, everything whent fine
Impulse and the sins game are working. Yet forge 1.1 does keeps stating that their has been a problem with the program and needs to close. Anyone know how to fix it?????
Nm, got it working again.
I installed framework 2.0, I installed impulse. And when I attempt to open it, it pops out with a message saying the program cannot initialize. Then when I attemp to send an error report, it pops up with another error. How can I fix this problem?
I have two issure with alloy, first is that when I test my hoting ability, it says my ip is not visible. I'm just wondering what implications that may have. And secondly, when I host a game, load up my map and green up, the start button is still greyed out. Thanks
Hello, I made an experimental map today, and I just was wondering what you guy's thought of it. Its a bit different then the maps we are use to since this map focuses more on battles, and less on resources. This map needs to be played in Multiplayer though, since the computer is horrible at figuring out what it needs to do. www.sendspace.com/file/k1ooye .............................................................................
How about adding a second hand option to the game? For example, you get tired of the game and give/sell it to another person. So the new owner has the game, but not the updates or the customer service. So why not add in an option where if this second hand buyer can get those aspects of the game if he pays around $1-$5 extra. Just have a webpage (or even via impulse) where he <

Just lately, whenever I select building I want to place. The computer automatically decides where its going to be built. I looked at the settings menu, but I was unable to find a way to disable autoplace. Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?
What i don't like about this game is that there's no front. An enemy can just fly to your home base, 10 planets in from your supposed "front" without meeting resistance. It's bullshit, to be frank. Gravity wells should be static and constant on any planets with phase lanes that connect between 2 planets owned by the same team, or same person.
That's basically why you have some basic defenses in the game. If your enemy slips by several planets, and start attacking your hom
