Ok, disregard that last comment, I don't know what I'm talking about [e digicons]X|[/e]

Oh, I replied in the other copy of this thread [e digicons][/e] I said the same thing as harpo.
Are you referring to the Real Capital Ships mod? https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/sins_mods/106/ I remember this one from vanilla. The latest I can find is the Entrenchment version (link above) but you could contact the creator and see if he is working on a Diplomacy version. Or, failing that, you can see if harpo's mod updater will make it work. I haven't checked on that program for a while but he had one that could update mods from vanilla to Entrenchment
I managed to install it but I was wondering if there is a way to use mods. I tried to find the normal .../Ironclad Games/SoaSE/ folder but it doesn't even exist. In fact, the entire /Ironclad Games folder doesn't exist within the wine environment. A fresh install might fix this so I'll try that. Also, how would I go about updating the game? Would I have to update in Vista and then copy all the files and folders on to a hard drive, then to Linux?
Fantastic! Now if I can just get Sins to run in Linux and all my problems will be solved... (Google is no help with that one.)
I've been running Linux Ubuntu for some time now. At first I was unsure if I would like it so I kept a Vista partition on my hard disk but by now I'm used to it and the only reason the Windows portion still remains is Sins. Of course, it gets annoying to have to log out of Linux and into Vista every time I want to play so I would like to install on my Linux partition. I'm sure it is possible with Wine and there is probably another thread on the subject but I prefer an up to date answer. I run
So just to be clear; if I turn on one it overrides the other? What's the point of having them both checked, if any?
No, they are two separate entities.
Deep space you wont notice much of a difference but colored makes the sky like purple and green and stuff instead of black. I prefer colored off but deep space on.
Movie. You can afford it.
Volt, I think your over complicating how to make the Kramrok model. Just take a cone with 3 sides, deform it and add some detail like so: Crap! it appears my screenshot program is broken so I cant put a picture but I have the model and I could send it to you so you can see it.
I posted this a few hours ago but it got lost in the argument. Just thought Id point it out again.
And what are the Vasari running from? Will it catch up to them in the 3rd, or possibly 2nd expansion? Where did this uknown enemy come from? If they are explained, will they be introduced as a 4th playable race?
I wrote a rant about this a while back, I think it would fit here nicely: "The reason I love the Vasari story is that mystery. Ive been thinking about this for some time. Ive read the lore dozens of times looking for clues, piecing it together. In many w
Thank you Kyogre, and I do have Sins and Entrenchment installed.
wats wrong with that again? aaa? i dont understand that.
You dont see that? Theres this: ááá at the begining of each paragraph. Maybe its just on my end.
This is from the begining of Sinners: As with all empires, the Vasari civilization's fall began from within. And its all like that until the last few posts.
I have a question, what up with the aaa thing at the begining of each paragraph? ( ) Edit: Its not in the later parts but the early parts have it.
The way I see it there is realy no winning with saige frigates. If you leave them how they are than they are useless but if you buff them then people will just go Rambo with them and maul your planets.
Yes I have and I cant get it to work for the life of me! It says something like "runtime error 76" or "path not found". I guess Im just stupid. [e digicons];P[/e]
Im trying to mod Entrenchment but I cant seem to get the Gameinfo folder in text so I can read it. If anyone could email me one that would be great. Just post here or pm me so I can send you my email address. Thanks in advance.
