Right now I have 11 karma. In the Sins forum, that is. It's annoying when I see I got karma, and I'm like: "Oh cool. What did I do that was cool or helpful?" and I click on it and it says: yngmon, for questioning.... and I just simply *FACEPALM*
I would say that anyone who is trying to sound smart and winds up posting this sort of stuff pretty mich fits the definition of "nutcase".
I'd characterize that as "sad" act

Last Hey, since this game has no real point other than to be the last post for a while, why not give it some sort of fun? How about with each post, you come up with a game achievement. For real life. Oh, and try to keep them sort of possible. Like no: Survive in space for an hour with no space suit, or Invent FTL in your basement. Whoops, that last one is possible. I got that acheivement two days ago... Like say: Feel the Burn <br

Well, problem solved. The 9400 was a PCI express , but the 8400 was a plain PCI. I picked up the 8400, and installed it today. It runs perfect. @ Carguy: Funny coincidence. I bought my graphics card this morning, and now looking at your suggestion right now, I realize that I bought the exact same card. Awesome! Also, touche. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]

Well, not banned. At least have this thread locked and deleted. As I said before, I don' think he's a nutcase. I think he's trying to be 'cool' and 'thoughtful' and is trying to sound like a genius or some stuff. It's kinda sad. Because he failed. Failed about as much as the Failboat. Or the failtrain. And for god's sake yngmon, STOP GIVING ME KARMA FOR NO DAMN REASON! Karma isn't to be dished out by crazy people just because you posted a sarcastic comment on their thread! Stop it!</p

@firebrick: Oh, I see what you're talking about. I'm not entirely sure if I can even find a card that is just simple PCI. I'll have to look into it.. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]

Well, super. I thought this was resolved, but I guess not. Today I purchased a GeForce 9400 GT graphics card. It matched all my system specs, and my input type. When I actually went to install it, i realized a problem. The input pins were flipped. I can't plug it into my computer, because the outputs would be left inside the CPU. I can't understand it. There's no way to flip the card and put it in, like I did with my old graphics card. It says it's PCI compatible, and my comp

Oh god no. Please do not even mention his name. --- I have walked among men and angels for over three thousand years. Time has no end, no beginning, no purpose. I have wandered the earth, seeking forgiveness for my horrible crimes , against god...and men. I have witnessed death and destruction, over the light, but the light cannot be extinguished. I am a prisoner of my own demise. I....am lost, in time.

Granted. By the time you get it, Microsoft announces a new console, called the Xbox 720. It's a vast improvement over the 360, and now every game is being made for it. All the games for the 360 become pointless, because no-one uses them anymore, so the multiplayer option dissappears. (Using the red ring was waaaay too easy.) I wish I had a hoverboard. So, I've been working on a Sins story. The game has a great backstory, and I want to explore the lore. I'll be starting with a series of letters formatted as though they were fleet correspondance. And yes, the character of Alexander Kol (who will be introduced vary soon) is based off of WitchFire's Alexander Kol. It's an homage, not a steal. WitchFire's Saints of a Solar Empire was an amazing story that made me want to write, and I thought her idea for the great Admiral Kol was p

I'm actually all for the complete annihilation of one race if this does happen. It would be rather unexpected. Oh yeah, and the aforementioned destructivitiveness-ness would only be possible with a campaign. So... [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]

I tremendously agree with DesConnor's idea. I like the specialized planet idea, but maybe it should go a bit farther. Instead of having set logistic slots and tactical slots, it would be interesting if you could use upgrade the tactical slots hugely at the expense of some or all of the logistic slots, allowing one planet to be heavily fortified, but with no logistic capabilities. I've always had the hardest time trying to fortify a chokepoint, and by being able to build up a impressiv

In the deepest realms of nonbeing, questioning thoughts lead to one assertation and one alone, a welcome respite from the horror of living in a life so mundane. In reading and comprehending the mind is awakened to spiritual understanding and empathetic connection, deciphering the didactic messages engraved in arterial matter still visible. In delaying, prolonging, the soul finds true meaning, in the loss of friend and foe, release. In judgement, in eventual reconciliat

I'm thinking someone just finished a philosophy class, and is feeling self-important... I used to be like that, until I realized that all I was writing was nonsense that just sounded good. Like bacon flavored ice cream. Delicious in concept, pretty fail in execution. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
