I just played a seven hour long game (Hell yeah, it was intense) as TEC. My initial fleet composed of: 1 Marza, 2 Kols, two Sovas, one Dunov, one Akkan, 50 LRM's, 40 Kodiaks, 60 Cobalts, 36 Percherons, 20 Hoshikos, 2 Protev Colonies (IDK why, just thought it would seem cool, and if the Akkan was taken down to prevent me from colonizing), 20 Gardas, 8 Krosovs, two Cieloes. Me and one of my allies (must smaller raid fleet, but good nonetheless) met with the enemy player (

He could build a desperate fleet of Heavy Cruisers, Carriers and Repair Ships and raid enemy planets. When their main fleet arrives or you so much as lose a single ship, retreat and imagine the amount of damage you did to your enemy once you had done so, and imagine how much weaker he might be (don't overlook it). Then get a cap or two (Maybe a battleship and carrier) and launch an assault on the planet. Do your best to destroy it. If you lose forces, pull them back slo

TEC: Average cap fleet- Two-three Kols, One Dunov, two Sovas, two Marzas, one Akkan. Advent: Two Progenitors, two Halcyons, three Radiances, one Revelation (mostly for it's reveal sensors ability and it's ability for long range plasma and beam assault), two Raptures. Vasari: One-Two Kortul(s), two Space Eggs, two Skirantas, one Antorak, one Vulkoras. Best fleets possible. With their long range-assaults, fighter/bomber strike
It'd probably be a close call, but I think the Space Egg may prevail. Although the Kortul really was made for fighting, it had a better reinforced armored hull than the Space Egg. But with the Space Egg's abilities and overall power, I think it could take it out. Plus the fact it gets a fighter/bomber squadron and later can get upgraded to two squadrons, whereas the Kortul can only make 1 squadron. So yeah, my prediction is that the Space Egg will
Carrier or Colonizer Cap. Only Carrier for the Vasari, and get both bombers. Otherwise, use colonizer capital ships. It may be quicker, but needs an escort, which takes longer to cpture ships. So do Vasari :D
DO NOT SPAM IN THIS GAME! It shows you are desperate, suck at the game, or just overall do it to show you have won a shitload of games. I may've lost more games than I've won, but who cares, at least I kick ass in all of them! NO SPAM NEEDED, except when I do it for fun to decimate AI fleets :D The Vasari strategy is mostly the same as Advent, except spend a little less (Less for Vasari means more later, in firepower and numbers). Even with a couple frigs and a cap, they
Well, the first General strategy I use for each faction: 2 scouts (or one, depending) and Crystal/Cap Factory. Colonizer Cap, same time make a metal Extractor and civ lab. Upgrade Colonizer with Colonize and fighter squad. GO to nearby planet with 4-8 Light Frigs. Take out Krosov first. (Build Civ lab again on homeworld) Colonize asteroid once Krosov is out. Finish Cobalt and mvoe to next possible planet wit
The bulk of the Advent Navy had attacked the TEC planet Halleria. Temporarily, the Vasari united to throw the Advent off. <span style="fo
MastahCheef117 Anyway, I think that the true way to emerge victoriuous with Kodiaks is rush (which I rarely consider except just to piss off my enemy or I'm losing) or just escort them with a shitload of frigates and carriers. Otherwise, just send 60 at the enemy colony and *BOOM* they're gone, but unfortunately so are the Kodiaks.
Its true that Advent have superior shields. Its also true they have fragile ships. Bypassing the shields (phase missiles for an example) will make them die quickly. Whilst it is true there are some area energy weapon enhancers (Mothership malice, Halycon energy weapon aura) go extremely well with those Illuminators the focus shifted somewhat from LRF (long range frigate) warfare twoards strikecraft (fighters/bombers). And Tec h
You're HowThe? *shivers*
I once had seven hangars at a planet (no turrets at all) and I blew away an Akkan Battlecruiser
it's not a space egg! it's a space whale! ditto on How's comment up the # of Kodiaks + have fewer frigs + more support + heavy cruisers. (Why the heck do you still have 60 Cobalts 9 hours in?) Otherwise, good job.
IT WAS NOT A NINE HOUR GAME!!!
9 hour and you only have 40 Kodiak.
I said the longest I ever played was 9 hours. This was only around two hours.
TEC best starting cap is Kol. I used to use Akkan but it most of the time lead to my demise. Advent and Vasari first caps should be carriers with two Bombers, later two more with three Fighters.
1.095? WHAT IS TEHS!
As soon as I get a solid economy, which should be easy for TEC, around 20 minutes into the game. 30 to 45 minuts for Vasari and Advent.
lol Ive played even longer. LIke 9 hours or somethin.
Maybe like Halo, how the Forerunners (and covenant) were scared shitless because of the Flood and were always running? It could be an organism .. . Or maybe they created Humanity. Sorta like Predator .. .
They hinted at revealign who it was. I think I may have some idea. . .
lol yeah
I just played an amazing 3v3. I was a TEC player (With two Vasari allies) versus an Advent, TEC and Vasari together. My cap ships: Marza Dreadnought- Level 5 Akkan Battlecruiser- Level 6 Kol Battleship- Level 3 Sova Carrier- Level 2 Sova Carrier- Level 4 Akkan Battlecruiser- Level 2 Dunov Battlecruiser- Level 3 Kol Battleship- Level 2 I had at least 30-45 LRM's, 60 Cobalts, 40 Kodi

They ruled the entire goddamn universe and we didn't know shit and thought we were alone. We were wrong. VASARI BITCHES- coming to a theater near you.
