My mom is an idiot and thought my sins booklet was garbage during her "winter" cleaning and now I have no cd-key to go online. Did I use my cd-key to make this account? If so, is there any way I can recall the key or prove I have the game and be issued a new one? Thanks.

You shouldn't assume that a software you are buying is not faulty/has ramification beyond its actual intent. Its a legitimate concern and it should not be ridiculed.
