Yes it could be a bit daunting. Go with 3 modes. a) No combat logging (the Default) b) Basic Combat logging. (over all stats only, i.e. total # of ships destroyed of the various types) c)Advanced Combat Logging (logs everything under the sun and hope to hell you have the computer/memory to handle it. Again same map and settings as my last post custom map, 16 planets, 100 ish stars Me and 4 Computers (Normal Difficulty, Random), Pirates On. Maybe I missed it, but is there a way to see combat logs from a battle? or series of battles. not only would this be a great feature from the players perspective, but also for testing. A break down showing damage each vessel did/received, to home, how often their 'specials' were used. I have seen something similar in other 4x games (can't recall off the top of my head, MOO series, Space Empires?) and more recently World of Warcrafts combat log. The in-game
