Hey guys Whenever i try to host a game, and my buddy tries to join, first, sins kicks me out of my own lobby and, on my friend's end, the game tells him the game has already started. I already allowed port 6112 on my router, but i still get that problem. Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Ok thats weird. Thats why im stumped. I did add hanger points to ship. The only reason i could think off is that i didnt link them properly or something but i just went back into max and linked em a second time, just to make sure.

Hi all, Im trying to make the kol start with fighters instead of having to wait till level 3, but i cant figure out how to do it. Im making a small minimod for private use mostly so i can learn to how to add abilities and stuff to the game. Anyway, i've been combing through the modding forum and the entity files, trying to figure out how to make the ship start with fighters rather than have to wait till level 3 to build them. Does anyone know what setting has to be changed? Thanks in

I was wondering, is there anyway to get a text mesh back into mesh format? Also, my exhaust effects have disappeared from my model, im just left with glowy engines. Why did this happen?

ya, i actually found out i was missing a mesh, heh. I have however, run into a new problem. I deleted some of the hardpoints, like i said, but the ship is still firing out of those hardpoints. that makes no sense.

hmm. I wonder if this is related to the minidump issues im getting with the game now. I got the exporter to work by using v1.1, and it seemed to work fine, it spit out a file and everything, but when i load the game i get a minidump error. The weird thing is that its looking for a mesh that doesnt exist. I dont know how it came up with it. All I did was delete some of the hardpoints to see if I could limit the number of missiles something fired, as a test, and then linked the remaining hardpo

Hi All Im using the sins maxtool v2.0a, and i can get the model to load in max, but when i try to export it, it gives me this error. --Type error: Call needs function or class, got: Undefined I have no idea what im doing wrong, I even looked through the related threads. What i did was link the dummys the mesh, then a dragged a blank material onto the model so it wouldnt give me the, cannot find the material error. Im running max 2010 32bit. Does anyone

Hi All, I've been poking around some mods for sins as well as the game itself, cause I wanna make my own faction for the game, and right now im trying to figure out how .entity manifests for ships work, specifically the weapons. I want to know what all those lines of code do. One thing i've been trying to do is get a ship to stop firing a spam of missiles and only fire one missile every 30 seconds, or fire 2 missiles every 15. Can anybody point me to some documentation or something? I

Hi, I recently tried patching sins to 1.05, and when the patch exe opened it closed and claimed it couldnt find the sins exe registry. I looked in the registry and it was there, which was weird. Whats going on? I'm running vista.
