The AI don't have to do missions to ally. They can just do it right off the bat. Kind of is annoying.
Ok, falls along the lines of what I said. Force Locked Teams and you won't have to worry about an unfair advantage.

Hey piratelord, Actually, I have the same exact card :) So, it's not a card problem. I have two running in SLI, which I will say this card can run a little warm sometimes. I take it you have proper ventilation and everything right? Update the latest drivers, defrag, lots of things could be causing it. If you start to see really weird colors, like hot pink, then your card is getting too warm. Is your CPU meeting the minimum? RAM?&nbs
I think the single-player mode in this game is something of an afterthought and not really meant to be played.
I gotta disagree with you on that one Lambdaman. Yeah, Multiplayer is awesome, but I did find a sweet way for them to keep 'omglawlz gangup-ing' on me. You keep talking about how all the AI's want you to do nothing short of playing God for their people. Yeah, that got annoying too,

I just wanted to give thanks to these two companies for allowing me to install Sins of a Solar Empire and letting me play it. Hold on, I know, you're probably thinking, "Uh, what's your point in this?" My point is that game companies all too often are putting top-notc
You seriously made a map and put all of those moons of Jupiter or Uranus? Damn, gotta look
Well not 'all' of the moons are there, that would be quite a lot of objects, but they are all named properly :D I actually did that in my first beta, but that severely made the game unbalanced, and lots of issues arose just depending on what player you were at the start. Chokeholds, too many resources on one side,

More can be found with the link provided. I put this in Multiplayer Organizer for people looking for a good map! Please leave any thoughts you might have. I apologize if this post is in the wrong spot. :)

Neither Dell nor Apple. Custom-built. Windows XP. I still think Vista is a huge joke when it comes to an OS. XP has worked for the past 7 years, and it's upgradeable. Vista can do maybe 4 things that XP can't, and that's things nobody will use for the next 3 years anyway. Ranting aside, custom-built is the way to go if you want a good price and good power.
Stardock has balance every ship properly, they can't help you if you start making YOUR fleet unbalanced. Its a player's stupidity thats the problem here, not a programming problem. Its called a strategy game you are suppose to build your fleet using strategic intel and actually think about how to make a balanced fleet to counter the opposition.
You know, I have come across this same argument with a few friends playing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory on a LAN. In Mercs vs. Sp
