I just came up with an idea for an atlantian tech, maybe they should have ways to greatly improve thier population and population growth on any planets since they are masters of genetics genetics. I made a mistake and I cant find my edit button, the population on the industrial planet is around 500, not 800.
I prefer any of the races carriers because they can hold a lot of fighters, especially the Advent, and I heavily use fighters against the AI. I dont play online since I have nobody to play against so I have no idea what to use there.
Without the mod, I prefer to colonize volcanic planets because I always have low metal for some reason and four metal asteroids can help a lot. In the 7ds mod, I prefer to colonize gas giants, rouge stars, or industrial planets. I like gas giants and rouge stars because they have so many logistic and tactical slots (I built about 10 trade ports and about 3-4 deliverance engines at a rouge star :D ) and tons of rescources, I prefer the industrial planets because they have about 800 popul
I'd have to say the TEC, even though it takes a while to research new unit types, I always get large amounts of money to make up for the lack of other resources.
