New user first time poster. I dont know anything about modding or anything like that so this might not be useful to you. but... it seems to me that it might be possible to use the original frigate factory to create a frigate of some kind and then since it can have four abilities which (to me it seems) can create a unit. perhaps you could have a base ship that can have four abilities and each one of those abilities could create the type of vessel you needed and destroy the base
