I would have to say the Intreprid class always catches my eye. Futuristic design to catch the eye and doesn't look as thin as other Federation starships usually are(the Galaxy class starship looks vulnurable!!). This starship just seems, so perfect! Also isn't too big, isn't too small, yet has all the accomedations that a good starship should have. intrepid
yeah i think they def need to expand on planet features such as population, buildings, weapons, invasions, etc...
Invasion would be pretty cool since orbital bombardment looks a bit too cheap and not as fun as actually sending hundreds of thousands of soldiers to the field. They could probably implement this at first with just numbers(as in your numbers of tanks, numbers of troops, and the quality of your troops tra

I wished there were infrastuctures you could build on planets such as research academies or factories like in turn based strategies. Then pop could play a role in all that.
The infrastructure part is something I also think this game needs. Also, th

Adding this would add to the realism of this whole experience. Star Trex armada 2 did this pretty well, with the ship going through stages of production and having these little builder units going up and down putting the whole thing together. I'm satisfied with how it is at the moment though, maybe in the expansions they will change it.

I have always wondered what 204 or something stands for. Why can't they write 5 billion or something like that? Also, requiring ships to have a certain population in order to be able to man it would be pretty cool. Different factions could also be able to use this to their advantage, with the humans having a high birth rate, the Vasari able to conquer "new slaves" by taking over enemy planets, and the Advent just being who they are, an elite group of individuals who don't need many to

I myself are really looking forward to the campaign to add a bit of taste to the currently "dull" flavor. I hardly know anything about any of the races except for what they stated in the introduction movie.

That metal does sound cool but I would prefer the ship defenses that the USS Voyager from Star Trek Voyager got from the future. Basically, at the point of battle, some type of armor made of strong material covers the entire ship. Image of voyager with armor http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e2/ST-VOY_7_26.jpg.

The whole world is on the verge of collapse, and the media, as you just rightly said, is the main cause of it. By spreading the news of doom, don't you just bring doom to your table?

It's pretty cool that Sins of a Solar Empire wants people to participate in modding the game. Thanks for the great tool Sins developers! Can't wait to see the many new *special* effects coming out. :)
