i almost forgot [e digicons]o_O[/e] if you want your capital sjips to have higher levels LET THE PIRATES ATTACK YOU, that way you can train your cap ships to a good enough level

-you should probably spend your resources making defenses for your planets rather than spending to get labs, if you spend all your resources on teching up [e digicons]:cylon:[/e] you wont have much of an army now would you? -try to spend some money on developing your planets to get a better credit income rate,so in case pirates are ready to raid you can spend some credits on your enemies -if you must tech up try to spend some money the research
phase stabilizers are good for reinforcements - the phase stabilizer could help in raids[e digicons]:ninja:[/e] , if you have a marauder(lvl 6+) you can teleport in and out of grav wells or you could just send in a small raid force then use the marauder's skill and phase in a larger army in to the grav well

hmmmmm....... i just had a thought, what if pirates also had cap ships? which would only come out if the bounty is really really high I'm not sure what u ppl think and maybe this is a bad idea( I dont really know if this is a bad idea or good idea), but it will certainly make the pirates more challenging
Flak is mostly useful in groups if u send a lot of them fighters and bombers dont stand a chance. The flaw with building lots of fighters instead of flak is that the other player might build a lot of fighters too, which means your fighters might not win against your enemies' fighters. Fighters are primarily good against bombers, but that doesn't mean that flak isn't any better at taking out bombers Flak frigates are not meant to attack larger ships
subverters work well and if you're the type of person who likes elite but few units vasari is the race to use if u like to attack planets the jarasul evacuator( space egg) has the planet drain ability

I've been playing vasari mostly so heres what I know about the fourth skills: kortul devastator: volstile nanites: sends some bot to an enemy ship and when the enemy ship explodes the volatile nanites will make the explosion hurt nearby ships skirantra carrier: replicate forces: creates 3 clones of any frigate or cruiser(time limited) jarrasul evacuator: drain planet: deals 45 damage per second to a planet while also gaining resources antorak marauder: stabili
I might be way off here but I'll give it shot how about: -[B]Space assault bots[/B]- they are units in the shape of robots(could be a human shaped robot, creature shaped robot, etc.) and they could probably have the ability to land on the planet's surface and kill the enemy population or they could stand guard in the owned or allied planet and go to space when the player commands them. Then again I'm not sure what other players think of this idea
I'll give it a try next time, cuz I saved the game before and then I loaded it and then I disabled the autocast so it wont happen again. Thanks for the help anyway and I'll try it out in another game :D

I was playing a single player game and I was attacking the enemy. After I moved on to the next planet I noticed my karnak assailants were stuck in one place while the rest of my ships moved on :SURPRISED: . When I moved the mouse cursor over them i noticed that their status was using the charged missles. I'm pretty much sure the the charged missles isn't supposed to last more than 2 seconds. There are a lot I would like to see in the expansion, but the top 3 are as follows: (1) a new class of ships: destroyer class - they should be the most powerful combat ships other than capital ships - this way cruisers can perform more of a support role - heavy cruisers can move to this class of ships (2) new kinds of strikecfaft - bomber/fighter hybrid - elite fighters - elite bombers - must be researched (3
I like to use a mixture of both, but i prefer to make more hangars than turrets.
I myself like the vasari carrier,because its strikecraft are useful in the early game, it has the ability to repair your own forces and its strikecraft are hard to hit cuz of its microphasing aura. This cap ship is defenitely much better with an escort fleet, because it can heal the ships and duplicate them(fourth skill).
ok so i just got the game a few days ago and im wondering what the best capital ships are, please tell me your favorite capital ship and why :)
